I'm sad for those who bought 16 , this is just way better
You may not want 120hz
But for the price you pay , you deserve the option
That's always why I agree 120hz is important for phones that cost 500 or 600$ +

i cannot believe im calling an apple phone "value for money" but this one really is, it has a great display, minimal bezels, top performance, proven cameras, faster charging than its peers and of course the apple reliability and software support. This is literally the best base model from the big three of apple, sammy and google.

From this years 6.3'' phones, i passed on Xiaomi 15 due to Miui/HyperOS.
Pixel 10 was very disappointing, and S25 is good now that it dropped in price, but its very disappointing seeing an Android flagship with old recycled camera hardware, small battery and slow charging.
No wonder most comments are so positive about Iphone 17. Thats because the most popular phones on Android side from Samsung and Google, are very disappointing.

The same 256gb variant of the IPhone 16 last year cost around €100 more than the iPhone 17 so it's cheaper it's getting in Europe

Ngl as S25 owner and a disappointed samsung fan, this phone is a samsung killer and much overdue. Samsung has now for many years stopped innovating and just started copying apple. My S25 has same old camera setup since s22 and the battery is also not being upgraded from long time. And from last 2 years samsung has been just selling on the name of galaxy ai features, which except one or two, majority don't use most of the time. Hope this brings much needed hardware upgrades into samsung s26 series.
We have been asking samsung for a pro- equivalent (compact but full flagship) phone from many years but to no avail. Now that iphone 17 series cameras and battery got massive upgrades, nothing in samsung remains a selling point: 120 Hz, anti reflective display (just exclusive to ultra) , more storage, all are now covered by base iphone itself which is better than S25 now. Unless samsung brings massive hardware upgrades next year, especially their old crappy cameras, I am switching to iphone 17 series.
Just waiting for s26 series. If rumors are to be believed about crappy exynos 2600 coming on s26 series, and no significant camera improvements (even in ultra) and just renaming of base S25 to S26 pro with incremental upgrades, good bye samsung. I just hope rumors turn out to be false and samsung takes things seriously now.
