Ice Universe: the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will get a downgraded 10MP 3x telephoto camera

With that specs, it's should called S26 Pro Plus, not the Ultra anymore. Maybe Samsung gave up to develop camera sensors because the last 4 years, the Galaxy camera has beaten to death by the top chinese brands like Huawei, Xiaomi, Vivo and Oppo.

They have plenty of space to include larger smears. They can’t be saving that much money. I go between these 3 companies and it’s all the same. So annoying.

          S25 edge vs s25+ camera shootout proved that, digital zoom of 200mp in s25 edge and ultra can match the 3x optical camera shared between all s25 models. So, it is a waste of space as of current specs.

              They come from Ice Universe, he leaks stuff about Samsung devices many many months before they're released and 99% of the time he's right.

                Drop the 3x camera. Zoom enthusiasts (like me) will just use the 5x camera anyways.

                It makes no sense to include a crappy 3x camera that will produce fuzzy photos when you accidentally don't zoom in enough. Just improve the transition between the 200mp wide lens to the 5x lens, like Apple does with its "pro" phones.

                                I would also prefer an 1/1.4" type of sensor with 24mp or less buy huge photodiodes. Sony & Co won't provide that because all photo industry will be thrown out.

                                  TBH, in Samsung's case, the 10MP camera module was always much faster than the 50MP and specially 200MP ones. Most of the time, when using 50MP and 200MP, you would end up getting blurry text when you took photos fast with slightly shaky hands, so I prefer they keep one 10MP rather than change all cameras to 200MP when they cannot make it fast!
