Anonymous, 11 Sep 2025Why do you buy a new phone every year ?Because I can, because the battery degrades in less than 4 months I use y phone a lot. From day one I charge twice a day. My phone is the most important. Device I have. I charge even more than twice a day now. And that happens with all.
I also sell my old phone once I get the new one but even if I didn't I would still change it.
I do notice the difference in screen brightness color, speed and battery.
Especially the screen damn oled colors always been bad keep improving every year, didn't get good till the s20- s22 . Yet every time a new phone release and you out it next to each other , pretty sure it's oled degrading that makes the new one even pop lore. Let alone they've been increasing the brightness too and that is huge
I just got the tab s11, upgrading from S9, I skipped the tab s10 because they didn't have an 11 inch. And damn the screen is miles better so much brighter , also performance , it's almost as good as my 2012 iPad, sucks that Samsung can't get a tablet that can play games as a 20212 M1 cpu but last week first week I can play on a Samsung tablet without me thinking of throwing it in the wall, yet I have to use powersavig. Mode otherwise it will lag in 10 minutes once the CPU gets hot , just like every Samsung tablet

jsoprano75, 12 Sep 2025Then you must absolutely despise the iPhone?I despise apple and iphones for more reasons on a whole other level lmao, but yes, the dynamic island is quite large, and does look annoying, but honestly there are some perks to it so it's not a huge complaint to me imo, just a nitpick I'd say (I would LOVE a pop up camera or some movable selfie camera in my phone tho can't lie)

6.3", 5000 mah if, 16gb ram, triple 50mp and bring back 40mp front, exynos its fine too

Any word on uwb on the Pro? I hated having to choose between small size and Phone as a Key on my car. I landed on the S25e having tried the S25+ but will be happier with a smaller size.

This is great marketing!
The small vanilla S phones are very "pro" in Apple language. High-end flagship phones with three cameras.
The "Plus" was not selling well, so it makes sense to replace it with the more interesting "party trick" slim phone.
I mean hey, if you could increase sales by changing words, why wouldn't you?

But when I held the edge , damn that felt as the only way for me to accept a larger screen, but still I prefer the regular 6.2 screen . But if I ever go bigger no way it's not the edge

Naming the base model "Pro" is unbelievably shocking, base model named as Pro?!?!? Couldnt they just name it S26, S26 Slab (Edge LOL), and S26 Ultra, its just like the Tab S10 Series.........., Galaxy Tab S10 PLUS, S10 ULTRA, S10 FE, S10 FE+, S10 LITE, like no base model, fix theyre namings, also, I dont like the new Edge design a strait copy from iPhone and its just a big slab, how can i call that thin.
