120Hz is smooth enough, I rather stay at 120Hz while being at QHD+.
But gamers will benefit from the extra Hz I guess

Phones fan, 11 Sep 2025What happened to the old beautiful design, this one is ugly. The round circle to literally everyone in NY where I live says it's ugly and I have to agree the new design is much better looking I'm actually excited.

Looking forward to it but I hope they do monthly security patches unlike that 13 they seem to wanna forget about. Also, in the US drop a 15t. Been wanting a more compact phone that is spec out for what seems like forever.

There is nothing special about 165hz, this isn't going to be the first phone with such high refresh rate, this has been done years ago. Not to mention that many budget phones are offering 144hz now, some even did so years ago.

I don't want a refresh rate race. What is even the point. We need to stick to performance, efficiency, battery and software updates or support.

"...one of the most important improvements in the mobile phone user experience in the past ten years", yet there are still a lot of apps that can't even render at 90Hz, let alone 120Hz, even for mobile games.
