    Although the Vivo executive has said the X300 replaces the X200 Pro Mini, in reality the rear main camera is weaker (hardware wise). The telephoto is basically the same also. So in terms of rear cameras if it's replacing the x200 pro mini it's probably a downgrade. However, apart from cameras there are improvements elsewhere in the battery and the addition of an ultrasonic fingerprint reader.

There has never been a rebrand between OPPO and Vivo as far as I know (correct me if I'm wrong). Rebrands have only hapened within OPPO's group companies i.e. Oppo, Oneplus and Realme and within Vivo's group companies i.e. Vivo and IQOO but not between OPPO and Vivo. In any case, it seems the holding company BBK, which only really existed to hold shares was deregistered.

          I simply do not trust Chinese benchmarks on Chinese phones. They are known to fudge results.

          Give me Geekbench bench results.

            Android 16 Material 3 Expressive looks nothing like iOS 26 Liquid glass interface.
            Literal opposite, one is more personal and playful than the other.

            OriginOS 6 will copy Liquid Glass and most iOS looks/features, why can't they make something unique like Google.

            I would rather see them copy Android 16 Material 3 Expressive UI from Pixel, because Pixel hardware is really bad right now. We don't need another cheap iPhone copy.

            I still very much enjoy some other aspect of the phone, like the amazing cameras but at the cost of bad ergonomics. There are no perfect phone anyway.

Their OS is a mix of Android and iOS but better with all the granularity Origin OS gives you. But you don't seem that worried about how Android has been copying iOS the same way iOS has been copying Android.

                        Everything is now leading towards unification, no one is suing each other like 15 years ago because of design. Have you realized that? Great. Everything feels and looks the same and this is just the beginning. Enjoy your phone (if you really have it, honestly sometimes I doubt it, but who cares?).

                        It's personal preference. I have X100U and iPhone 16 Plus and while I understand iOS has some good things, OriginOS is superior.

                            Just not acceptable for a 1000€+ flagship device, thankfully import prices are around 850€.

                              Especially now that leaks from OriginOS 6 suggest a Liquid Glass interface straight from the newer iOS 26. And current OriginOS is nothing impressive, especially compared to features-rich flagship OS like OneUI.

                                That score is definitely better than SD 8 Elite. If you look closely, that's Antutu V11 which has different method of benchmarking compared to V10.
                                My S25 Ultra scored 3959280 on Antutu V11
                                CPU = 1038167
                                GPU = 2007634
                                MEM = 354950
                                UX = 558529

                                  It's an interesting decision to replace the X mini with the vanilla X. It makes me wonder if there will be an X Plus, though I doubt it would happen since there's already the X Pro.

                                    Please launch the base model in Europe to compete with the Xiaomi 16. We need more smaller flagships 🙏

                                        The phone is not bad, just the software is a bit unOriginal a mix of Android features (like split screen, multi sound...) and features from iPhone (worse dynamic island, camera control button, control center...).
                                        And OriginOS 6 leaks now show liquid glass UI from iOS.

                                        I'll definitely keep my X200U, but only for holiday shootings with its amazing cameras (already took 3,000+ pictures this summer). But while working : I don't take daily pictures, I just don't need this uncomfortable great brick. And all the amazing optics seem a bit fragile.
