On Reddit most people who use SD 8gen2 can play it at max and even I read someone play with SD888 at max with no issue. Throttling after prolonged use is the hardware limitation I was talking about. If the cpu is directly connected to a proper active cooling system (not just vapor chamber, heatspreader, or a fan attached to the back of the phone), it will take much longer to throttle or even runs out of battery power before it happens.

20-25% in single core and 10-15% multi core = 4000/11000 dawg that's the exact performance of a19 pro..

It's a battle of ego at this point. 8gen2with 12GB RAM was already very strong and can run the most demanding games at max settings. Anything newer & more powerful is constrained by the hardware space limitation of phones to balance the power/heat output. Android OS also need to be more flexible in order to utilize the cpu's capability. Adding native desktop mode is a good start but still a long way from being a desktop OS replacement.

I mean I'm fine with better performing SoCs, but start putting them in laptops and PCs to show off their prowess. Keeping them inside a phone with thermal limits will only be useful for benchmarks. I mean why can't we have cheap Windows laptops with these SoCs already? Put the last nail on intel.

- iphone 15 with 6GB didn't received Apple Intelligence
- 16 Pro Max only has 8GB, I don't give him 2 years until some AI features will be slower due to lack of Ram
- 17 Pro Max get 12 GB...
You will see in 2 years, Apple will say the new iphone 18 Pro will be up to 400% faster than 16 Pro...those up to 400% will be on tasks 8GB won't be enough and device have to swap on storage.
Ram is one of the main bottleneck...in some cases over NPU/TPU

Snapdragon is better only in emulation, and modem. Some emulators improve their Mali support so snapdragon won't be so outstanding in the future

While some snapdragons were fails but many are great. Even want to buy another smartwatch powered by snapdragon. But I use smartwatch rarely. That's why I keep my galaxy watch 6 classic powered by exynos. For laptops I trust Intel more even when people tell Ryzen is better.
