Report: Exynos 2600 will be used in the Galaxy S26 Ultra, mass production starts this month

The Exynos 2600 will be the first chipset made on Samsung's latest 2nm GAA node. Its success is expected to bring in more external customers.

    Any post-2400 Exynos SoC would be heaps better in battery life if it used a qualcomm modem (which unfortunately only Apple gets to use without needing to buy the whole Snapdragon chip)

                      Samsung being nosy with the S series especially the Ultra by using an Exynos, they need to rename their chipset series as Sexynos or "S"-"Exynos"....anyways

                              That's one way to ruin the Ultra even more. Downgraded Ultra tiny 3x telephoto, no battery improvements and now Exynos chipset as well.

Tensor G5 is completely Google's own design (although they do still use Samsung's modems). But prior to that, Tensor shared the layouts used for its CPU with Exynos, but that was basically it, and used the same GPU. It then remained stuck on Exynos 2100-based layouts until G5, where it turned into a full Google design and dropped Qualcomm's Mali too.

                                    Google Tensor is a bad chip all thanks to Google.
