The problem is just the processor, apart from that this is a good phone

Already have the 10 VI came from a XZ2 (which was perfect but doesnt support 4G LTE in my country) and I went for the 21:9 display and I am a fan of it. Not a fan of the wider display just wish the camera was better in the 10 VI, even my 7 year old XZ2 could take brilliant photos! No thanks to this sorry but I do like the rear design.

1- Move the headphone jack to the bottom
2- Add a 2-Mode physical alert slider (Nokia N8 style)

Had an Xperia 1 iv, great phone but they just cannot compete on price to everyone else. The amount of other phones that are just outright better then Xperia at their price points is insane. Only reason to get one is the headphone jack

I have the Xperia 10 V, I like it's design, I have small hands so it's width is comfortable for me. The improvements needed are few, I would like a better battery life, and an improvement in its photos. I see no reason to change my phone. Unless I could get a new Samsung Galaxy 25 ultra for less than £500.

I-Loved-Sony-Vaio, 21 Sep 2025This phone is the best phone Sony made in recent years. ... morethe 10 VII would need better camera sensors for me to want it quite honestly, i like it otherwise but my 5 V's SD8G2 beats the 6G3 massively

waiting for a Xperia 5 VII, with SD8 Elite and preferably all the cameras from the 1 VII, 21:9 display, and roughly same size and dimensions as my Xperia 5 V but with a 8 Elite and 12GB RAM at least + a 512gb storage option
this is all ideally, but i do hope that sony brings back the 5 series. either way, i love my 5 V to death, it's my favourite phone i've ever had/used

I'd have bought it if they kept it as a width that the average person could use one-handed (68mm or preferably smaller).

Typical japanese company, living in their bubble, 450$ for an ugly bezzel in 2025, small battery, crappy chipset, and always had the most outdated front facing camera on all their smartphone lineup including their flagship, the softwarw are ancient, not even had features or customization, im expecting they're closing their mobile division next years.
