The day Chinese phone's deal with their less than impressive software is the day I buy one. Other than that they are good phone's. Still not overly impressed with how long the carbon battery lasts though.

High end Chinese phones are truly marvelous hardware wise.
I have used X200 pro for 15 days.
For routine use and mobile photography, it excels in everything other high end mobiles.
But I have trust issues with Chinese brands, I know that neither Apple nor Samsung are saints. But still. So I can't use for banking apps. So I am with Samsung at present.

Likewise, still trying to look like an iPhone w/ the pill shaped camera island upfront.. No matter how good the specs are, this brand makes no appeal to me.. ever! I'd rather go for Nothing than this crappy brand. Lol

The X200 Ultra with the V50 namesake had a nice Maroon colour, and the X200 and Pro with the V50/V60 namesakes had a patterned blue, which gave them a unique appeal. Older Vivo phones had gradient hues, which don't seem to be here as well. The X300 series doesn't seem to have any of that.
The same applies to Apple as well. That's why I like the iPhone 17 Pro series' Orange variant, though I'm not very fond of the design. The X300 series has a better design in my opinion, but with poor colour choices.

Anonymous, 23 Sep 2025People are going to be putting a case on it anyways, which ... moreyeah right bro, the 11 pro was one of the comfiest phones i had ever held, the 13 pro wasnt. The S22 Ultra was supremely comfortable for me without a case and with a case it was even comfier.
Sharp sides cannot be fixed with a case, but curved sides can be sharpened with a case.

I dont see the problen here. Sounds like a minor issue for those who dont use phone cases.
