The Chinese reviews show that D9500 cpu got... nothing improved except SME2 support.

              I'd tell you all after watching D9500 review in Chinese media, the improvements over D9400 were the..

              - Geekbench 6.4 (with SME2 instructions) improved by ~20-30% in single-multi core score.
              - C1 Ultra gains more power (vs Cortex-X925).
              - the GPU (Mali-G1-Ultra MC12) doubles the Ray Tracing performance by around ~180-200% on 3DMark Solar Bay Extreme.

              These improvements were nice, but still close to SD 8 Elite CPU performance in actual smartphone.

              But the new aarch64 IP generations did not disappoint us, and the needs of SME2 in 2030 comes to shine especially in workstation use case.. On a smartphone or Laptop.

But I trust dragon more.that is reasonable but after 9300 series the game has changed....this is like AMD and Intel battle now 9500 will be more efficient for sure and SD 8 elite 5 is more powerful....its a pretty intresting year to choose a phone

                        Was very impressed with the 9400 in my find x8 pro. Excellent performance and efficiency so if these numbers bear out in real world then it'll be an excellent chip

                          THANK GOD......it seems snapdragon is going for electric oven strategy this year again and if the numbers are right than 9500 will be my choice for the next phone
                          im not a fan of oppo design this year and gotta wait for honor to release too but if x300 pro is as efficient as they say than thats my next phone

Plus we have yearly OS updates to add animations to make phones look slower. Add a sprinkle off gaming with ray tracing lol and we get a justification for another hand warmer (throttle king in more tropical environments).

                            Long-term sustainable strategies are a thing of the past and will comeback as an innovative novel approach down the road.

                                      All the MediaTek phones I've had have a random stuck wakelock issue with its consequent battery drain. I won't buy a MediaTek phone ever again.
