Despite of that, every generation of iphone has one same issue: iOS. They should switch to android so maybe more people would be interested in buying those overpriced bricks.

As for the quality, it's excellent quality. It's just that the build is aluminium, and it scratches. That is not even a huge deal like some people are trying to make out of it

Every smartphone scratches, so what's your point ?

You’ve been trained to expect and accept less and that’s what your getting.

It’s not our fault if our product is not that great it’s yours for not covering it up with a case.

As this is turning out, people will have no choice but to use a case otherwise their phone will be completely scratched up. So many people making excuses for one of the wealthiest companies in the world. In their quest for making more profit, they choose to use cheap anodised aluminium for their most expensive phones. A real step down from the titanium alloy they previously used.

Surprisingly, they were using "TEMU material ahh" to iPhone 17 Series 💀

This is likely the same thing happening on the Z Fold. Samsung claims it's because cheap chargers move current through the phone and it compromises the anodized coating. I guess Samsung wasn't lying, but that also means they didn't follow the standards to coat the aluminum.

This is not going to stop people from buying this phone. The only drawback is the Pro Max is heavy so I don't think many people want to add bulk with a case. Here is what will likely happen. Some manufacturer will start making fancy rubber bands for the camera housing and they'll sell a bunch of them.

And I agree, I'd love for manufacturers to go back to all plastic phones with integrated lips like the Galaxy S5. Ain't gonna happen unfortunately.
