What's all the comment comparing this to DSLR? For a professional photography I won't use my phone but for casual photography like when you're out with friends or just out for some casual photos a smartphone gets the job done and modern phones are really great with cameras

naap51d, 23 Sep 2025Just buy a REAL camera instead of this nonsense. For one t... moreYet it's not hard to find those who leave their DSLR or Mirrorless camera behind and only use their phone for photo/video shooting. I can tell because I am one. I sold my Mirrorless camera way back in 2018, and I still have no interest in owning a DSLR or Mirrorless camera again.

Seeing how much difference the external teleconverter lens can make, I'm glad that Vivo distils it to the Pro and vanilla models. It also piques my curiosity about what Vivo will do with the X300 Ultra.

But Vivo X300 and X300 Pro telephoto lens kits would not make big difference if Vivo still not fixing its telephoto lens 400mm to 1600mm unable doing 50MP and 200MP issue. (Because Vivo X200 Ultra can only do 12.5MP with Zeiss 2.35x telephoto lens)

                        Also if anyone were interested,
                        staring 16 October announcements,
make sure to compare all specs of Oppo Find X9 Pro, Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro as to make sure which will be your best choice. Or else you would end up like me : already bought Vivo X200 Ultra too early!

Just buy a REAL camera instead of this nonsense. For one thing, the IMAGE SENSOR on these phones are TOO SMALL for really sharp, detailed photos with good bokeh.
The image sensor on a d-slr or mirrorless is MANY times larger than these things. And, the 200 megapixel nonsense doesn't make the picture better. The only "real" benefit is if you zoom into a photo & crop it. You won't lose as much detail. Plus, stuffing that many pixels in a less than 1" sensor or larger, creates other issues.
In a less than good lighting situation, the software in the camera will crank up the gain in order to try and capture more of the light. Those sensors & their data lines being so close together will introduce noise between the sensors, called "cross talk". That can result in a noisy picture. Then the camera "AI" software tries to fix it, resulting it a flat/muddy photo.
Just spend the money on at least a compact camera with a real image sensor & lens.

Hardly a surprise why I love my Nokia 8, and not a single brand has made a metal unibody flagship phone with nice metallic finishes after that. Even the Nord 4 didn't impress me much in person as I hoped it would be.

Polished colours like the Nokia 8's Copper or Purple, a glossy piano black like the Nokia 8800 Sirocco, or a silver mirror finish like the older iPod touch series would be a win-win for all!

Nice, a competitor to Xiaomi's ultra series photography kit

I wish they would, rerelease the photography case, just the case for X200 ULTRA with a newer look, maybe colour matched to the phone for the fake leather part. I have a kit I barely use because the case fell apart and I can't find a place to buy the case alone. I feel like I wasted my money. Impossible to get a replacement from the company because I imported it from 3rd party.

Eno2, 23 Sep 2025Nice, it would have been a bummer not to be compatible!Something you can never expect from apple or sammy.
