Anonymous, 24 Sep 2025and every other TV OS is pure shitI've used old Philips SmartTV OS that was based on Linux (before Saphi) and it was fine. I've used Samsung's Tizen and it was fine. I've used Hisense's VIDAA and it was fine. And same goes for WebOS on LG. I've not really used new TitanOS...
In the end, the main thing is longevity of support and its functionality and apps/services availability.

My TCL C845(x2) has a physical switch to turn off the microphone. Turning it off is the first thing I did when I bought the TV and it's staying off.

FatShady, 23 Sep 2025good, now we know which brands to avoid when purchasing a tv.Most are actually avoiding Google TV. They mostly prefer their own implementation or OS. LG with WebOS, Samsung with Tizen, Hisense with VIDAA, Philips with Titan OS and I heard rumors that Sony is planning on ditching Android/Google TV in favor of Titan OS as well.
