Useless for Vancouver where it's all rains clouds 3/4 of the year.. lol
In fact, when the screen is too bright, it hurts the eyes when the device is used indoors. I remember turning down my small TFT ~2 inch screens on feature phones to 10% most of the time.

"Sony Xperia P uses the WhiteMagic technology and it has the worst endurance rating between all the phones that GSMarena has tested "
You know that the Xperia P has only a 1300 mAH batterty. With a bigger battery (like xperia z1) it will work as Long as other smartphones. Also you can buy a additional battery pack for charing it when you are traveling.
The display is great. It has only one failure. Yellow is turining into green at 90% Brightness.
But you have to think about: With 80% brightness it's also the brightes phone in the market (Without the yellow failure). And with 100% brightness ist the only phone you can realy use outside.

if I remember correctly, the Sony Xperia P from last year uses this kind of technology. The display quality of that phone is a disaster. everything is really bright and they almost ruin the image quality.

The difference between 1080x1920 and 1920x1080 is exactly 90degrees. Or in plain english portrait and landscape.

For people wondering whether it makes the colour more washed out, the answer is NO.
I had white magic to my Xperia P and it is still among the best and brightest display I have used today.
Colours didn't look washed out for a bit. They did however look unnatural in a different way, which I didn't like that much when I compared to the Xperia S I also had before.

It seems the same panel use in Note 10.1-2014 edition which also added extra white sub pixel.

A stupid question. What is the difference between 1920x1080 and 1080x1920 and is the difference too vast?
