Or at the very least some kind of analog audio output, even via USB-C, but the good ol' jack is much more convenient. Nothing in this world keeps you from using BT headphones even if a phone has a headphone jack - so it's a win-win if you have one.

So I bought the phone last week and I got the headphone for free. But the question is that I ask myself why do we have 3.5headphone jack?? If all headphones are wireless and without cable?? Funny right? But I love the SD memory card 😊

I am writing from Xperia 10 vii. I'm happy with my choice. I bought it as a second phone but I think i will keep using it. It's some comfortable in hand and to use. It feels great. Yes it's a bit pricey but the quality is amazing. Especially the battery is unbelievable. I don't charge all day. It takes easily 10 hours. The camera is al so great. Pics are so clear. Happy me with my Sony..

... morenice... i also fancy sp...
but i ended up with miro during its time because i just like the led strip...
the led strip has just limited functionality on miro since it has a dedicated notification led on top, but there is this illumination app that can enable the strip to light up along with notifications...
fast forward, i bought a refurbished sp since the internal hype did not die down 😅...
and i also installed muviz edge app on my 1v just to relive the moment on a larger phone...
...
as for this phone, 10vii, i just like how they changed the camera button...
despite of not into xperia midrange, i was a bit disappointed for the changed in aspect ratio... but i guess, this is one way sony is telling us it wouldn't bring back 21:9 ever, or at least in the near future...
one of the reasons i did not upgrade to 1vi and 1vii is the change in aspect ratio... but aside from that, i think i am bound to buy xperia, maybe viii or ix... or even x... nothing really compares to xperia's feature set that matches my use cases, even when i actively try other brands...

Just like you, Xperia SP was my favourite, turning heads everywhere I went. Phones these days are so similar, there are no real unique features that set one model apart from the rest.

Just yesterday, a friend of mine, who has been a long-time Samsung user, have total interest in getting the Xperia 10 VII. He never ask me about any recommendations whatsoever, yet he got hooked by the new Sony midrange phone. If Sony put much more effort on offline marketing, people will eventually notice.

You can buy brand new S24 on classifieds for almost the msrp of 10VII but if you are price hunting and using classifieds to get the best street price then you know you can grab 10VI for 320 and that's a 150 difference between 10VI and S24. When you are shopping in that price range a 100 makes a whole lot difference.
