Eno2, 25 Sep 2025Nice, and the Xiaomi 17 Pro is very impressive for it'... moreA 5x jn5 periscope with f3.0 aperture is a compromise compared to other pro models and compared to even standard non pro models from OPPO and Vivo which come with 1/1.95" periscopes around 3x. Basically you get no oprical zoom between 1.1x-4.9x and then at 5x the sensor will need good lighting to perform well. It will suffer indoors in not so ideal lighting. The ultrawide is also using a 1/2.88" Omnivision sensor which is a bit on the weak side for a pro level flagship. The main camera is good but the other two are on the weak side and definitely weak for a pro level flagship phone as the standard non pro level phones from OPPO and Vivo are giving better quality periscopes and slightly better and wider ultrawides with the jn5

These are same crazy good and very unique flagship devices, that rear display is awesome as well, there was no reason to copy the naming from Apple.

Perfect phone for perfect price. In 2026, they must produce 8-10 TeraByte phones. Because, 8K 120 Fps quality and 1 Hour Video recording size around 2-3 TeraBytes...

I dont know why we obsess about a name. Phone does not look like iphone 17 pro max at all.

Their Ultra line has better camera specs.

This proves that in the smartphone world, if you can't be first, be the loudest and copy the most good ideas (and numbers) from others! So, despite the controversial name, Xiaomi at least has something to show off besides just the number 17. What do you think, will this 'Magic Back Screen' really change the way people use smartphones, or will it just be a feature that dies after two months?
