The soldered RAM is a deal breaker.
I love Beelink's in that they are usually quiet for the power - which is important to me.
If this had upgradable RAM, I would have bought it.

Nobody complaining about the soldered RAM which hurts upgradability in the long run. Not surprising considering the average user of this website has been conditioned to accept devices locking everything up.

I hoped this mini-PC would be great for AI tasks at this modest price. It might even be great for specific AI models designed for CPUs. We'll see, but I highly recommend a mini-PC that can handle AI models.

I'm sure these portable mini PCs will become smaller in size every couple of years. Just wait and see.

What's great about this device is the huge 32 GB memory and the amd ryzen + Radeon combo.
I personally don't need an Nvidia graphics card but I wouldn't say no to a good Nvidia GPU either.
If there was a sim card slot and if the device was half as thick and the price at $599 then I would instantly buy it. Even at $799 this is still a great computer for the price. In sure it beats most laptops out there available for $1k

OS needs to be installed on SSD and all the rest can be on HDD

I would much rather buy this mini PC with all essential features including sd card slot rather than an overpriced phone without audio jack, no sd card slot etc...

- With each new node, both TSMC and Samsung have increased prices of chip manufacturing
- RAM (both DDR and GDDR) prices are going up, due to AI servers gobbling up all RAM
- The average price of average PC has gone up, just as price of everything else (raw materials, rare earths, gold/silver, copper, work pay, tariffs). Which increases inflation and product pricing
But hey, I'll take your optimistic scenario! Please sell me such a phone in Q4/26 for even $400 and I'll be a happy camper.

Besides I have a Avolusion PRO-T5 Series 22TB HDD USB 3.0 and a Avolusion PRO-T5 Series 20TB HDD USB 3.0 and I run the latest Doom game off the 22TB USB 3.0 HDD without a problem.

In near future, all PC Companies shut down or will change... Next generation 1.8 Nanometer Phone CPU's and GPU will reach 6.1 Ghz Speed and GDDR7 Ram's... Price will around 200 Dollars for Super Fast Mini Cube Computers. In 2026, 4h Quarter.

For this at the article as 610 plus 170 is 780 and for that price i would buy a Lenovo IOQ laptop that is budget gaming laptop series. As you also get like 32GB DDR5, 512GB SSD and RTX4050 with something Ryzen 7 or i5 12xxx on it while also 144hz screen of something 15.6 inch
When 512GB SSD is not enough you can change it to bigger SSD later on

Elpida, 30 Sep 2025Like most mini PCs it really pack some weight in terms of t... moreSorry but it's really weird to see someone still talk about HDD on computers in modern day when past 10 years all new computers come with SSD as base storage where the Windows and programs have been installed on.
People still have HDD in their computers but that is to expand the storage space cause HDD 3TB cost around same as cheaper 512GB SSD and you dont need to have bigger then 512GB SSD to store your videos, pictures, documents and music when HDD is fast enough to run them.

AMD Ryzen 7 H 255 is just a defective AMD Ryzen 7 260 with NPU disabled, apparently. And AMD Ryzen 7 260 is AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS. O_O
