Tbh, I'm thinking of upgrading to ... moreSame I want to get that phone too I'm just waiting to find someone in my area who can get replacement parts because all the sites I find are sketchy and I don't want to buy it and have to get rid of it when the battery goes bad. Oppo has replacement parts on their website but they only sell it to authorized repair shops and they don't have any listed in USA right now but I'm sure there are repair shops in USA who can import them through partner shops in other countries.

    I'll upgrade my s23ultra to a Chinese one next year with 7000mah. This is a reheated soup

I'm eyeing the global release of the Oppo Find X9 Ultra next year (apparently confirmed) and also looking forward to the Honor magic 8 Ultra next year.

            Smartphones used to be cool. Now expect boring. Expect AI slop bloatware. Bigger and bigger phones while increasing prices. Higher refresh rates on displays. Multiple cameras. But none of the upgrades we really need. They’re simply tacked on for us to keep paying more.

            I wish we can go back to 2007-2019 but those days are long gone. Apple hasn’t made a great iPhone since the 5/5S. Forget the overrated X. Created a decade of ugly notched iPhones. Every iPhone since the X has been forgettable including the minis. The 11/12/13/14/15/16/17 will all be forgotten. Same with the 18. Then they skip 19 like they did to 9 and we have iPhone 20 in 2027.

            Samsung peaked in design from 2015-2021. Been bland ever since. Nothing new to see here. Foldables never took off and looks to be a fad like curved displays. But YouTubers will convince you to buy more phones you don’t really need to be stuck in that antisocial behavioral pattern of being in an eternal doom scroll. It’s time for more of us to stop playing with our phones and handhelds and touch grass more. Stop being distracted by junk info and antisocial tendencies. The irony. Antisocials being keyboard warriors on social media.

                    From now on, they may only include the S Pen for their top-of-the-line tri-fold phones, which are more of a folding tablet than a folding phone.

                      Funny you say this as I bought another iPhone SE (2016) yesterday for $40. Battery is at 98%. Has plastic protectors on both sides. It’s my fourth time buying it. Still on 11.4. I sold the three previous ones due to I dented the side of my first one. My second one got so bad with iOS15. Slow, glitchy, and gawd awful battery life. And the third one was finally a 64 GB with the TSMC chip. Had the best battery life as a new one was installed but the display was so yellow.

                      I think iPhone SE (2016) and iPhone SE (2022) are the two greatest iPhones ever made. I never liked Face ID. Fourth time’s the charm. No plans updating to iOS15 and making the same mistake as my second one. Most apps are working except YouTube and Google Voice. I personally think all smartphones are dead. They are all boring. Smartphones peaked in the 2010s. iOS is becoming Android and Android is becoming iOS. No real distinction between them.

                      TOUCH GRASS or be stuck in this endless loop scrolling the internet reading biased opinions by lame trolls and misinformation and lies. If my work didn’t involve using a smartphone, I would go back using a dumb phone. Internet and smartphones are the most destructive things ever invented for human behavior. Social media is destroying us but we will still buy another phone and then go back reading the lame opinions by keyboard warriors who are losers in real life. YouTubers are phone shills and grifters looping this same cycle forever and ever.

                      - Buy new phone

                      - Go back to the Internet to read more misinformation

                      - Memes and mocking

                      - Get bored of that phone

                      - Buy new phone

                      - Repeat the other steps all over again

                      To end this doom scroll eternal loop of more misinformation being fed in our brains? Touch grass. There’s a world out there beyond looking at your phone.

                                        Samsung getting boring, Apple getting creative what a world we live in.

                                        If the rumoured specs are true than samsung literally gonna give a 5000mah battery in 2026, same and downgraded camera setup, same old boring camera and overall boxy design (looks like they follow if it ain't broke don't fix it philosophy by heart), prolly remove the S pen if not already made ut less useful.

                                        It used to be innovative brand in terms of smartphones atleast and now same old boring crap. All the phones series ranging from M-F-A-S all have same design. :⁠-⁠(
