As far as I'm concerned Samsung is missing two things.

High PWM displays and Si/C batteries.

These would make me jump ship in a heartbeat.

I will buy the xiaomi 17 pro max or ultra if there is no change with samsung s26 ultra

What Samsung need is a consistent algorithm and color science with each updates. Sometimes the colors can be way off on Samsung, and then a OneUI update made it even worse. I'm sure the hardware is sufficient. We can see what Google can do with old sensors. Changing the hardware just because would only introduce another variable.

There's a reason content creators are sticking to iPhones. Apple is king in consistency, especially between different lenses,, whether you like the result or not.

If they just make 50MP without changing sensor size (like they did with 200MP main and 50MP UW) there will be no real difference in quality once again

Same-sung is at it again. Their base S models in paftocular have been very underwhelming recently.

              >Samsung may attempt to extract the best possible image quality from its current hardware for yet another year, utilizing AI smarts and other software enhancements.

So...they're doing the google pixel way. Well, gonna look elsewhere then, probably x300 ultra, find x9 ultra, oneplus 15, xiaomi 17 ultra etc

If no camera upgrades, then, I'll be seriously considering either Honor Magic8, Vivo X300, Realme GT 8 Pro or the Xiaomi 17 series.

I'm still on my S23 Ultra, and I'm not feeling any excitement for the S26 Ultra. the rounded corners would be better for my pockets...but why is phone design so dead in the USA?

🤔 if ASUS ever returns symmetrical front-firing speakers to the ROG 10, I'll probably upgrade to that. even now that I've adopted using wireless earbuds, i still listen to most content through my phone speakers.

it's time that phone makers took audio output as seriously as they used to take imaging output...and imaging could stand some serious new leaps too.
