cenas, 14 Oct 2013Most people change phones twice in a year???Maybe he meant every two years, or every other year.

Depends on where you live and what type of person you are I guess. Here it's once yearly which is the most common.

Well what you expect there are many phones on the market plus not every day or month your changing cellphone. It takes years or more than years before you change it. Aside from that there are more cheap phone last year that is still has a good feature.

This is great news. Once the saturation level is reached all manufacturers will have no other choice than lowering those ridiculous (and still growing) prices. Let me show you an example: once fresh out, the first series Note cost an equivalent of around $860, the new Note 3 is around $1000. Hopefully, once sales drop the prices will as well.

AnonD-5197, 14 Oct 2013If you have been paying any attention to the battery tests ... moreI've been paying attention to GSMArena battery tests a lot lately. While the tests shows some good results to lure people into buying the product, the reality is something different. I get just 5 hours and 30 minutes of battery juice on full charge on my Nexus 4 if i use it for browsing continously. Same thing with my S4 octa core and HTC One X+. The actual reality is Android is a resource hungry OS which keeps stuffs running in the background which eats a lot battery life. Do search why Android eats battery life on Google.

It is obvious that the smart phone in case of Android cell phones, the battery life is not long lasted after frequent use of internet/application.also not secured.

Most of the middle & old aged could not understand abt smart phone operation. Rather they R comfortable with old Symbian phones.Just they think that phones R used for call basis, listening music but young ones R fond of using smart phones becaz features, application R most attractive ones. Afterwards every thing is fulfilled, just sale these sets at half price in quilt or olx web.

Since most people only get phones twice in a year then it should be expected that 2013 will get a lot demand for smartphones. That is regardless if it is samsung, LG, Sony, Nokia, or whatever. The decline is expected.
