Anonymous, 02 Oct 2025Now Samsung gonna price hike more as they will have to pay ... morecorporations are not your friend... they'd also rather steal from open-source and not give any pennies to the developers of open-source projects, what makes you think Samsung will give out money for "open-source" AI?

Kinda ridiculous, wonder if Altman is transparent about what OpenAI is doing underneath it's hood, I mean, maybe he should mention they run it in a CIA/NSA Gov AWS cloud, or do they tell everyone that, he sure as heck didn't want to comment that on X ;P Altman, that is, it started off great... after the 4o release it started to go downhill, sure, compute is up thanks to getting government money, but is selling out to Trump a good deal in the long run? Not sure, I mean, they put a monopoly on AI and then politicians go "WE WON THE AI WAR" yeah, well, nobody else gets any hardware anymore... ;P Especially not the Asian countries, or well, they get 10 year old trash for compute for the same price the heavy hitters go for, not really fair. But then again, the military complex in America always has the first and last say... gonna be interesting to see how they deal with it. Anyway, hope everyone is well, healthwise, cheers from a well sad state of affairs in Sweden (December for Xiaomi 17 launch, jeeeeeeez?!?) :p

This specific writer uses quotation marks a lot in his articles to the point that even the titles have them. Was it really necessary to add quotation marks to Samsung and OpenAI's partnership goal in the title? Even phrases like "strategic partnership" has it, like wth, was that really necessary? Can't help but notice that he's always being sarcastic with his writing, especially, when talking about certain brands. Sigh.

AltFantasy, 02 Oct 2025the chaebol twat in that pic sure looks happy...Interesting fact : Samsung makes up 20% of South Korea's GDP. It's estimated that 60% of South Korea's growth has come from "chaebols," conglomerates like Samsung, Hyundai, and LG. They account for 85% of GDP but 11% of jobs.
Note: This was 2 years ago, can't imagine how much it will be now

Now Samsung gonna price hike more as they will have to pay fees on (Closed)OpenAI & will constantly send data to nsa/cia rather go actual free/cheap Opensource AI that they can customize not to send data to any entity.

Finally! That's what we all want from Samsung, definitely not hardware upgrades, since AI will obviously make any old hardware so much better!
