Samsung might launch the Galaxy S26+ after all

The Galaxy S25 Edge is the one to thank (or blame, depending on your perspective).

      Hahahahahahaha

The S25 Edge seemed like a stupid idea anyways. Who wants a thin phone when you throw a case on it anyways. I only know 1 person who rocks their phone with no case and his phone is always cracked. A thin phone that you throw a case on and it's not so thin anymore, with a gimped camera, less battery life. What's the point? I'd rather have a thick phone with a 30 hour battery life, and great cameras

Great news for me. I like my s24 plus a lot. So much that bought 7 different cases for it. And watch 6 classic alongside with buds 2 pro. And smart tag 2 plus a type c flash drive. All samsung branded. Everything works great so far. Will wait for s26 plus or s27 plus. Highly unlikely but if I switch will go for oneplus. No iPhone for me. Never never never.

Not Hard for Scamsung... They will pick S25 plus, put in new chip and then

Voila, Slap a S26+ label on it... 🤣🤣

And then, sound will come Tadda (like in a magician show).. and claps 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😂

Quick Apple is making a slim phone, we have to make one before them... oh no it flopped, time to replace it with the s26 plus.

Anonymous, 02 Oct 2025Samsung is going to sht lately, their mobile lineup needs s... moreI agree, smaller batteries lag behind the competition in terms of camera performance. Meanwhile, iPhone has released the massive iPhone 17 8,8mm with a larger battery, and people are fighting over it. Samsung is heading for bankruptcy if they don't come to their senses in time...

Well, that's dumb. It shows that Samsung has no vision. The S25 Edge didn't sell that well because not only it came out later than the original S25 trio, by the time the Edge was launched, the price of the S25+ had dropped. So it's Samsung's own fault for not having a vision in advance. The correct way is to discontinue the + from the start. Besides, what you want is to push people to buy the Ultra, the most expensive (and highest margin) product.

Look at Apple, they did it very smart, to the point that like majority of people actually ended up buying the Pros, which means more money for Apple.

If Samsung released the S26+, what would its pricing be? It will be very awkward lineup, and instead of pushing people to spend more into the Ultra, they might spend less and get the + instead. Thats just dumb.

Wow, this is good news. The Edge was just not it, unless it had 6000+ mAh with Silicion Carbon battery.

Honestly the S25 Edge is the best Samsung phone I've ever had.
I only care about the ergonomics and main camera, and the Edge got me covered. The battery lasts me a day and a half (about 6 to 7 hours sot depending on usage).
Got rid of 3 Ultras (Oppo, S24 and Vivo x200) and stayed with the Edge.
You have to hold the phone in your hands to understand.

At least their development team won't have to do overtime! New chip, new colours and the S26 Plus is made! They can all still go home by 5pm today!

slim phones makes sense when they give them silicon carbon batteries, but now they are meh.

Well, turns out, marketing your phone solely on thickness doesn't go well in 2025. Yes this worked back in 2011 with the Galaxy S2, when every phone on the market felt like a cheap, plastic brick.

But nowadays? People will prefer better internals over a slim build. Wouldn't be surprised if Apple will follow suit.
