The Pro/Pro Max are no longer my cup of tea (due to their weight), but I’m glad Apple made them. With the regular iPhone 17 having most of the same comfort features like pro motion, that leaves the Pro iPhones for the real pros, and I’m glad Apple dialed it to 11.

No, the 16 Pro looks worse in all four examples because the 8x results of the 16 Pro look extremely artificial and consist of fake detail. The 8x images of the 16 Pro achieve their sharpness with AI and have fake detail whereas the 8x images of the 17 Pro use nearly no AI and have true detail.
Just recently I saw a comparison between the Nikon P1100 and the Pixel 10 Pro at 100x. At 100x, the trees of the Pixel 10 Pro looked noticeably sharper. Does that mean that the Pixel 10 Pro has better tele capabilities than the Nikon P1100? No, the Pixel 10 Pro is actually much worse. It's just AI that makes the image sharp, you get a lot of fake detail. And the Nikon P1100 can suffer from atmospheric distortions.

TBH with shipping delays, scratch-gate, dimmer displays and other smaller stuff, I'm picking up a 16 pro 256GB for vanilla 17 money.

4) The 3000 mAh iPhone battery has only 1000 cycles and performs worse than the battery on the old Android Xiaomi.
5) Zero viruses and no spyware is a myth spread by Apple Inc. and refuted by independent researchers.
6) Not proven by any facts except for Soviet-style marketing slogans.
7) A good joke in the style of a typical troll.
8) I need a stable, bug-free smartphone, not speed that rots my brain, given that the actual speed of iOS is lower than that of Android.
9) I can't say anything about this because I don't play video games and don't consider a smartphone to be a toy.

Dont even need to compare those two to say Apple 16 pro max bneen a lot better device mostly in durability. Also the endurance on more imprtant fields.
Still for the price Apple, Samsung and Google are the worst flagships among all other competitors.
