Edge 40 pro or Edge 50 Ultra Motorola for half the price have 60 mpix. Samsung barely gives 12 mpix.

Because they clearly have been putting all of their eggs in the Software+Ai basket. And combined with their ubiquitous and strong branding, with success, going by their smartphone sales numbers.

With apple, battery is a problem, since it degrades fast and replacement comes expensive, they have a low charge cycle count and lesser overall lifespan, not saying they're bad but nowhere as good as the ones on chinese phones that have a much higher cycles count before reaching an 80 percent capacity
Apple will most likely not upgrade their batteries for the sake of some additional profiteering, so idk if I want an iphone or not. I am just against this idea of planned battery obsolescence by apple

Even the iPhone 17 Pro made a solid leap this year. Samsung is a cancer in the industry - no progress in hardware, no progress in software. It's a joke, and not even a good one.
