Samsung unveils new 200MP ISOCELL HP5 sensor for phones

It's surprising that they advertised 4x zoom for the HP9, but only advertise 2x zoom for the HP5, even though both sensors have Quad Pixel autofocus, whic

    How is it a good thing to claim that this is the first 1/1.56" 200MP sensor with tiny 0.5µm pixel size? It's too small of a sensor with far too large resolution and way too small pixel size, so being first at this is just laughable, just like the sensor itself.

      Reassure me, did the marketing department forget something? 108MP sensors have always done 3x "lossless" zoom and 200MP sensors do 4x "lossless", why does Samsung only talk about a 2x "lossless" like any 48 and 50MP sensor? A 200MP sensor without 4x "lossless" zoom is useless, I don't understand

        Better noise performance isn't just down to sensor its also down to image processing, Samsung
