I've already mentioned it before, the cameras might be more versatile on the S25 Edge, but if cameras are truly importantant for one, what they will want instead is an S25 Ultra or the iPhone 17 Pro (Max), or something from vivo, and definitely not the iPhone Air, or the S25 Edge. In my opinion, the Air is a better thin phone, while the S25 Edge might be an overall better smartphone, but when their main selling point is being thin, Apple did it better, and there are better overall smartphones than either of them anyways.

    You have for years now posted and reposted misinformation contradicted by GSMarena/ other impartial reviewers, anyone who can use a Search Engine.

    On battery GSMarena / EPREL shows Samsung recharge cycles are 2000 to Apple's 1000, your goto pseudophysics is even more rubbished as the S25 Edges battery is bigger than the Air.

    No need for a calculator the Edge lasts twice as long before 80% battery health.

      Otherwise, people wouldn’t compare Pro iPhone flagships with Android ones in camera quality, battery life, ecosystem, and software.

      So the Edge is clearly an alternative to the Air. The Edge is slightly thicker, has no magnet, no Bluetooth 6 with worse battery life, but is way cheaper, slightly lighter, has a better back camera setup, 8k30, dual speakers, SIM tray, a larger screen (but bit dimmer), better AI features…

      Definitely comparable.

          Yes, it does have competition. It’s called the S25 Edge and then there will be the S26 Edge.

People do have different needs that's right, and the Air is certainly not for everyone, but it has no competition, while the 16e does have plenty of it, like the iPhone 15.

              Having a mono speaker or a mono camera, but people have different needs.
              Not everyone needs a top-tier 120Hz screen or multiple cameras but might need a cheap phone that works in the Apple ecosystem.
              Cheap iPhone 16e as employees company phone for example.

                  I understand your point of view, but all I can say is that I didn't understand the need for this phone, until I held it once, after which I bought it and I have no regrets. I switched from android purely because of the Air, if they've made a 17 Plus instead, then I wouldn't have switched to any iPhone. I like the simple and pure design, the durable titanium body and the clean naming with no numbers in the name.

                    Not saying the 16e is a great deal, but the Air is the stupidest thing in recent times, considering that apart from thickness it is worse than the base 17 in every regard, while being more expensive than that.

                        Would not even want this for free. This device has no reason to exist. Even getting an iPhone 14 or 15 for less makes more sense (if one can live in the 14's case with continued usage of Lightning for a few more years) though quite honestly the only iPhone if i wanted one I'd currently buy would be the iPhone 17 base model.

                          It doesn't say refurbished for the iPhone 16 so this is the best one out of a them by a nautical mile

                            Apple made at least 3 big mistakes :
                            - iPhone 16e instead of a real iPhone SE gen4
                            - iPhone 16 standard which has brought nothing new
                            - iPhone 17 as it will obliterate both the previous phones

                            So, now, can we get back a real and cheap iPhone SE ?

Obviously I know why you've mentioned speakers, but the single speaker on the Air is high enough quality for watching videos. Not ideal for music listening and gaming, but this phone isn't good for gaming anyways, and for music earphones/headphones just make more sense.
