08 October 2025
Apple launched the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max in that color last month.

Noooo wayyyyyy!

what a sad fall from grace, i still cant find it in my heart to sell my emerald green s22 ultra because the colour is so beautiful. Instead of doing something like that even more they went to ugly, generic colours and started copying Apple. I always wondered how they'll top the masterpieces that were the S21 Ultra and Note20 Ultra, at least in terms of design, well now i know they answer, they wont. They peaked and it was just a huge decline later on.

I hope this is fake and they can at least go back to making some interesting colours. The S24 Ultra purple was nice, hope they do more of that. Even Apple has 5k mah battery now, wonder what Samsung will do about that

Fake or not, that orange one looks awful especially because no change in the design in a way that compliments the colour.

Samsung is the original copycat. All Chinese learned from them.

Lister, 08 Oct 2025and here we go. Arguments over colours on a smartphone.....what are your thoughts on Xiaomi naming it 17 Pro Max instead of something like 16 Pro+?

Calm down, people, it seems to be a false leak!! Calm down!

Everyone chill out for goodness sake it's just a color. Apple don't own any colours. Next it'll be criticized for making a silver or black colour 🙄

That Orange shade originally comes from Nokia N8. It Apple who first copied Nokia.

Aah yes, "inspiration from Apple" because Samsung hasn't used bright orange as a color for its phones ever. /s

Minu, 08 Oct 2025If I'm not mistaken, didn't the Galaxy S22 Ultra ... moreS24 Ultra had an exclusive orange color (which looked like a rotten orange rather than saturated cosmic orange of iPhone), S22U had red if I'm not mistaken.

rizki1, 08 Oct 2025Orange color has been present in the flagship Realme GT 5 P... moreThe Lumia 930 had it 11 years ago! And the Nokia N8 from 2010 had this color. Apple has never invented colors in its life.

Finally the ultra naming will be fitting, as these will be Ultra Generic.

Orange color has been present in the flagship Realme GT 5 Pro, GT 7 Pro in recent years followed by Apple and Samsung.

The S22 Ultra already had this color! The funny thing is, they brought it back just because Apple did... There's no originality anymore.

Nah, they should do a blue variant like the Z Fold 7 but for the Ultra.

Should have also taken the "inspiration" from the unibody design of the iPhone
