Is 4800mAh something impressive for Motorola ? It's like less then the Chinese standard with 5000mAh like 2 years ago where now is like 6000/8500/7000mAh and so on

But well we can be happy that Motorola isn't like Nokia/HMD that produce only slap in the face with spin rain as a jerry on top

          hopefully, by ditching the telephoto , they'll put a much powerful chip ( e.g. dimensity 8300/8400 ).

Let's hope for 700 euros that means it's got a good chipset.

I don't mind if the 'Edge' moniker corresponds to slimness rather than curved edges.

This looks like a pretty interesting device. The only major unknown that remains at this point is the processor. Given that Motorola would likely be sticking with Mediatek, I really hope it uses Dimensity 8400 rather than 7400.

Pumpino, 09 Oct 2025I think a lot of people will be happy if Moto has ditched c... moreI agree on the latter, but curved displays were the only factor that gave Motorola their identity, despite being one of the last brands in that trend. There's Fairphone and HMD for stock Android alternatives, so I think that they need to build up their own identity to gain more consumers in the long run. The other notable aspect they should give up on, is compromising on the basics.

I think a lot of people will be happy if Moto has ditched curved displays. With flat displays, stock android, fast charging and generally good hardware, Motorolas become appealing.

For that price, expecting AT LEAST a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, if not the 8 Gen 5 Elite.

Motorola better go ALL OUT on this phone, i'm gonna crash out if this aint a good flagship killer from motorola.
