They peaked with ... moreOnly the HMD Skyline seems worthy, because even Vivo had downgraded the 50MP ultrawide to a more pedestrian 8MP ultrawide, Realme is allergic to using telephotos on their mid-rangers, Nothing devices are following BBK's footsteps with a serious desperation to trick their own fan base, the Samsung A series doesn't outperform the Dimensity 7xxx (8xx) series, the Oppo Reno series is overpriced for what it offers, ZTE's RedMagic series has limited availability with poor translations, Transsion insists on abandoning their devices on launch, Motorola insists on compromising even on the most basic aspects it delivers, as well as Xiaomi's devices haven't gotten past their quality control issues.
Realistically, most brands insist on the 2015 "Illusion of value" philosophy.

Additionally, the hardware definitely sucks. Inferior speakers and vibration motors to the competition and also iPhones can be submerged deeper based on their rating. Moreover, the charging speeds have taken a big hit. Lots of hardware defects. There's also the thing about irregular distribution of weight and also how the camera bumps just jump out instead of protruding smoothly like the Find X3/X5.

Oppo's first-ever phones were made under Huaqin, having similar designs to HTC and Samsung Windows phones at the time.
BBK and its sub-brands, Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus, Realme, and Neffos, in partnership with TP-Link, were always reliant on ODM designs, mostly targeting those who consider Apple and Samsung (formerly HTC as well), to grift their attention. That's essentially why they don't have an identity that stands out, both in software and hardware design.

Redmi Note Pro series and Realme Pro series, at those prices you are getting almost flagship killer phones with far better chipsets and camera. In my country, at the price of Realme 13-14-15 Pro Plus, one can get OnePlus 13R/iQOO Neo 10 and OnePlus Nord 5 and Oppo Reno 14 Pro, which are far better phones than them.
Realme and Redmi both are stuck with LPDDR4X rams in midrange when prices have gone up like mad. They are madly justifying 450USD price tag for 7s Gen 3/7 Gen 4, above average TCL CSOT screens. It's unacceptable. Software on Redmi is below par as well. I hope custom rom community goes on for atleast four five years here onwards.

I honestly hope they change back to the circle shaped island design. There is already one too many square islands ont he market. And the circles look more harmonious than the square. Psychologically more comforting to look at.

I like the red, I don't like the generic design or the camera regression though. I had an X5 in the past that I quite enjoyed, so I've been contemplating a Find X8 Pro but the price has never really dropped here in the UK making it the most expensive flagship as the year wears on. Thinking about the 9 but I don't like the idea of that 200mp lens being an AI crop- master rather than 2 proper zooms.

brick phones basically reach design limit
if there changes, its basically minor like placement
nothing bad though, but people that saying one phone design a is boring while other is amazing is nothing more than simply personal preference

goes to mei zu 22 & the oppo find f 9 & the vivo x 300

i hope the meizu 22 will be available here
and for 360euros it cheap & more worth it
!
and i believe zte will make wonders if it wasnt fined
a hefty amount and almost got bank rupt nack then
!
