And the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 Is highend for a midrange chip... It's against higher spec'ed because of memory speed than the top of the line snapdragon 8 from three years ago. For most people... It's absolutely solid as far as power goes. The other thing is it's Motorola. Very soon it will be down to $500.

      I agree I'd rather have a decent size battery 5000 or so that way it's not a BRICK??? lmao also it doesn't matter what they come up with, if they don't do something about the OS & SECURITY UPDATES and bump it up across the board on all they're models they won't ever get back up to where they used to be. 🤔

        The rumoured price seems steep for a mid range SOC as €500 would seem more reasonable, above that and you may as well buy a phone with a flagship device

            Slim is nice but isn't battery life more important? I'd rather have a 6000MAH battery anyday!!

              What I complained about with Motorola is that they don't have their own dedicated essential software, like a picture gallery or music/video player, other than from Google.

                Used Motorola X30 Pro (Edge30 Ultra) before but MYUI got a big problem of not including any built-in Always On Display regardless monitors being AMOLED and its AOD app does not work either. This problem is big enough to make me not anymore consider Motorola, since its models' specs are not attractive compared to Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo, Realme, OnePlus. (Nothing Motorola does really any better)

                    Don't understand the revival of thin phones which means worse battery life. And being thinner doesn't completely offset how large these phones still are.

                    I still support Motorola even though they've been owned by Lenovo for over a decade now. Motorola, similar to Nintendo, is the last of the OGs. Nokia, BlackBerry, Palm, HTC, and LG all gone while Motorola is still in the game in the industry they invented.

                        Somehow the main Chipset and Camera setup, seems weaker than Edge 60.

                          Samsung gives you flagship processor (sometimes last gen flagship processors for the FE's), high software support, feature rich and optimized software, for the 600-1000+ euro market, Samsung is doing good.

                          but with moto, you pay a high price tag, and nothing about it is actually worth the price you pay, especially the software and the software support. (i would even go as far as saying that the newer moto edge lineups are worse than the older edge lineups, and it all started since the edge 50 lineup) and you either get a snapdragon 7 gen, or a dimensity processor from the 7000 or 8000 lineup.

                          apple and Samsung do deserve critism in some aspects, but if you would really rather defend motorola in it's current pathetic state instead of opting for other brands which offer much better options, then sure, have it your way 🤷‍♂️

Just like Edge 50 Neo launched at €500 and was selling below €300 shortly after. For €400 this will be a good option but I want to know if it will have a flat or curved display.
