It's stupid, mAh is not enough of a measure to know if battery life is good or not, Xperia 1 VI had better battery life with a 5000mAh battery than Xiapmi 17 Pro Max with 7500 mAh one.
Watthours, voltage, optimisations to chip, drivers AND OS, apps you use and if they are a unoptimised broken mess of not, signal and in the far end mAh, decide battery life.
My S25 is getting 8 to 9 hours of sot on a 4000mAh battery because of how I use it (no power saving), others kill 6000mAh ones in less than a day.
It depends on a ton of factors, and while I don't like Apple, just look at how in a ideal situation batterylife COULD be.

"It will feature a 4,800 mAh battery – surpassing both the S25 Edge and iPhone Air in terms of capacity" - less than 5000mAh in 2025, late 2025 at that, is ambitious. Into the bin it goes.
If Xiaomi can deliver 7000mAh for less than 200€ in the Redmi 15, 6500mAh in the F7 and their own Moto G86 Power can stuff almost 7000 in a thin body, why are phones with batteries less than 5k still a thing ? WE HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY.
I used to never buy phones with less than 5000mAh batteries on principle, but I had to compromise a couple of times due to sales and financial constrains. In 2025, with SiC tech, there is no excuse anymore. Anything under 5k is e-waste, anything under 6k is not good enough for me going forward.
If they want to make paper-thin phones for fashion - fine, as long as someone likes and buys them, who am I to judge. But you got to offer a Edge 70 POWER model with as big of a battery as they can fit inside for people that actually want to use their phones for what they are.

Their update speed and stability aside, the most stable OS on their phones is often only the one you get out of the box.
Miss the old Motorola.

I other article I said they will probably put 8350 Extreme in it, yet they do this Snapdragon which is worse... by a lot.
If this thing throttles I'm going to laugh.
As for the price, ignoring how dirt cheap S25 Edge is (7 years of updates, better screen and SD 8 Elite for 599 euro in my country), Motorola wants a bit too much for this phone.
500 euro tops, anything more is a joke.
Device itself looks "okayish" but that chip shouldn't be there at anything beyond 500 euro.
