One more report claims the Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro will have the Exynos 2600 SoC under the hood

In the US and China, it might come with the Snapdragon chip.

Well, I mean, there was always an option to buy Snapdragon versions from American or Chinese regions. Apparently, Samsung isn't giving up on trying to sell bullshit for one of its largest sales regions — the EU. Come on, Samsung 🫠

S26 pro is the basic version

        Add some updates:
        50 megapixel
        16gb RAM

And with that small battery (4300 mAh) offer 45W wired charging
        & 25W wireless charging

In that case it's worthy to call it '' Pro'' and let it compete against:
        IPhone 17/18 Pro,
        Xiaomi 17/18 Pro,
        Pixel 10/11 Pro

In terms of security, specs and camera.. The other 3 are better but the S26 Pro would become a worthy all rounder. Especially since smaller devices are gaining attention from these 3 companies vs galaxy S smallest device.

And remember these are basic updates Samsung needs to make. Xiaomi has the SD 8 Elite Gen 5 +16gb RAM, better battery and charging, Ultrawide
Google has better camera and battery
And iPhone... Well it's the best in Processor

And that's from 2025... Samsung can't use old technique and compete with it in 2026 with the s26 pro when the competition will improve their small devices

Samsung is all over the place with it's strategy and it shows

Samsung is quickly losing users in the EU.
Banning the BL unlock is their most recent fiasco, but their preferential treatment of some other countries was also killing the trust in their brand for a decade at least.

I would not recommend this manufacturer anymore, unless they give a damn good deal.

Even then, an S23 seems pretty much the same if not better.
Pity they partially ruined that with their one ui 6 update which forced openGL. I remember mine had wonderful battery life on the oneui 5.0.
Not looking good for a manufacturer who brags with the software support.

Camera literally did not improve one bit for years now. Anyone who wants to use their phone as camera occasionally should avoid this brand, but at very least anything not ultra. The S series is straight up tragic in this sense.

Xiaomi already has lot better products with better baseline prices and thats just one example of the others who have surpassed them over the years.

You are at your optimum, your very best and only advice 😂 is, if the pro uses Exynos 2600 it shouldn't be called Pro 😱 typical another vacuous decree no explanation.

Accurately stringing a sub-160 characters together is a minimum, yet here you are posting what little RAM online. Despite having the article (l template) and these search engines Google Microsoft, Yahoo plus A.I. Artificial (not like mine/ours Actual) intelligence

                    Spoiler alert
The Exynos 2600 has the capabilities of far exceeding Qualcomm and Mediatek 3nm Second 3nm release

                    HYPOTHETICALLY this is your position
Samsung uses Qualcomm / pays Qualcomm even though the EXYNOS 2600 posts superior benchmarks than the 3nm Apple A19 Pro, Snapdragon 7+1 Elite gen 4+1 or Dimensity 9500- 99

If any company other than Samsung (default all negative posts submitted here) were to do it, you would be all over it multiple grammatically susceptible SMS posts.

Not that I care or you can even reply but rhetorically imagine the non-S26 Pro sporting Qualcomm's latest SoC and the Pro Exynos, Benchmark would be a problem to justify as well as surplus stock of 2600 after Zfold 8.

But hey you have no observable knowledge to pass on whereas I post checkable facts. Moving on as emoji X is your SOP everyone sees.

The translation imo shows a hedge safe guess offering no actual definitive information, it does however use the previous Exynos/ Qualcomm split, but FAILS to factor into the equation 2nm. Previous splits were the same process and Qualcomm was the better Soc. Exynos 2400 erased past underachievements.

"With the Exynos 2600 entering mass production, its inclusion in the Galaxy S26 is virtually a done deal. While the specific AP selection hasn't been confirmed, considering past experience, it's likely the Exynos 2600 will be used in domestic and European models, while the Qualcomm Snapdragon AP will be used in North American and Chinese models."

                                        Today's source snippet
"This will likely be the case for most regions worldwide. However, in the US and China, the phone may be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC"

The problem I have is that this is competing with "better" and logically sound information.
16/09/2025 Report: Exynos 2600 will be used in the Galaxy S26 Ultra, mass production starts this month

"Using the Exynos 2500 on the Galaxy Z Flip7 helped Samsung CUT COSTS IN ITS MOBILE DIVISION, while also propping up its LSI division (that’s the division that makes the Exynos chips). The goal is to do the same at a larger scale with the Exynos 2600 and the Galaxy S26 series."

Contra Samsung are going to pay Qualcomm for a 3nm process when it HAS a potentially [yet to be realised] faster and nil cost 2nm chip SEVEN MONTHS BEFORE Qualcomm and Mediatek

A part of the puzzle is known, the actual improvements realised by Qualcomm & Mediatek so achieved in their second 3nm iteration. (Samsung has no second, straight to 2nm. I previously posted a 2500 upgrade also 3nm is still feasible for non-flagship)

                                        https://nanoreview.net/en/soc-compare/qualcomm-snapdragon-8-elite-2-vs-mediatek-dimensity-9500
We do not have the architecture for the Exynos 2600 just the clockspeed will be using Mediatek
                                        4.21 GHz – C1-Ultra
                                        3.5 GHz – C1-Premium
                                        2.7 GHz – C1-Pro

Samsung already knows performance for its 2nm SoC and especially what is needed to surpass both Qualcomm and Mediatek. A 2nm itself has potential already inbuilt in just the process which means only 'partial increase' not 'optimal increase' now enough to take the lead including Apple, .... or
