Anonymous, 16 Oct 2013trying really hard to love my Z1 and really hope the firmwa... moredude... are u kidding.. i have both HTC One and Z1. And HTC One no where stands close to Z1 in user experience. Z1 camera quality again is much better than HTC One. There are a few issues in Z1 for low light pictures for sure... but overall.. Z1 is much better then HTC. and display, its only brightness that differs by about 3-4% but in terms of contrast and colors... but are equally good. Infact while playing videos, I found Z1 to be much better than HTC, thanks to its X reality engine. What other bugs are you talking abt in Z1?
On battery front, its great to see update would improve the battery for sure. Presently. My phone easily lasts around 32-38 hours without recharging on normal use which is pretty good for me.

trying really hard to love my Z1 and really hope the firmware will squash most if not all the bugs and flaws found in the Z1. i used to own HTC ONE before trading it for a Z1 in hopes that the Z1 will blow away the HTC ONE in all department.that however didn't happen and I am left feeling somewhat disappointed. in my opinion Sony still have a long way to go in the software department before it can seriously mount a challenge for the android market throne. the Z1 hardwares are bleeding edge technology however the software implementation for those hardwares are somewhat lacking finish and at worst really really bad. hope the firmware update will rectify and polish some of the poor software implementation especially the camera, the display, the overall user experience of the timescape UI and my personal gripe; the throw and screen mirroring bugs as I have yet to successfully connect my Z1 with any of my miracast supported entertainment center, problems that were never encountered with my previous device: HTC ONE. plus the HTC ONE's display blows away the Z1's display...PERIOD!

My Z ultra only has a problem with battery life. the touch is already insanely sensitive and i think that is update is going to make it over sensitive dang it

If searching the google, you find lots of xpeia phones problems.
The xperia ZL is really beautiful, but just dare not to give this brand a try.
Maybe it will getting better and better by learning from the problems.
