My guess is that they managed to basically match Tsmc 3nm performance with their "so called" 2nm. Also test samples might perform well. I'm interested in the retail samples. I don't trust them so I want to see a ton of tests by low level reviewers (who don't qualify for test units).

Tbh, Every other company fakes their antutu scores like Vivo, OPPO, Realme and more. I only trust Apple, Samsung and Xiaomi's antutu results cuz they don't make their devices overclock or just fake the score while doing the antutu test. I also recommend relying on Geekbench 6 cuz it relatively shows the real performance and results of the phone itself.

if larger size help with better heat management, whats the point making it smaller ?
smaller chip size + big heatsink = better heat
the things with bigger chips like apple, they can pack more transistor, which then in theory it should give more performance
