Ano, 14 Oct 2025iPhone samples were near sh*tYes, taken by Honor. Go take a look at Iphone, Vivo, Oppo samples taken by somebody else other than maker of those phones. Every single actual photographer has been complaining about Honor watercolours ever since Magic 5 Pro.

LV426, 14 Oct 2025Btw why dont compare with Pixel, scared? :)They compared the cameras to the Xiaomi 15 ultra in the launch event (in addition to the Iphone 17 pro max). They compared the performance to the Xiaomi 17 pro max (which is the best performing snapdragon 8 gen 5 elite phone previously.)

SB, 14 Oct 2025Honor doesn't have any brand value for common people.Their X9d is pretty good for common people. A mate has been using the older X9c without case and screen protector for nearly a year and the phone still looking good except for some scuff marks when he dropped it on asphalt.

Every single Magic Pro so far has been a superior example of too much AI, artificial sharpness and if you zoom in, details are like watercolour bleeding into each other. Extremely artificial : worst of the high end phones so far.
If they have not completely change the algos on Magic8Pro, I doubt it will be any better.

usually the Magic pro model launches globally (same with X200 pro/Find X8 Pro/Xiaomi 17 Ultra), so they have to target competitors with the highest sales in this segment which is iPhone 17 Pro/Pro Max and then S25U.
And they can't compare with each other since none of them dominate the global market sales
So don't know what y'all are on about claiming 'easy win' or recommending Pura 80 Ultra...
if the launch is meant for domestic/china market only, with no plans for global launch then its a different story
