Spencer, 15 Oct 2025Lu-Ion/Po are outdated and dangerouq .... Si-C is more safe... moreSamsung not using Si‐C because they are heavily invested in the production of Li‐ion cells and can't make the switch overnight. For Google, it's always that one reason: They care more about bottom line than actually making good phones.

rizki1, 15 Oct 2025Foldable phones are very fragile and you pay $2000 for it..... moreMine has been doing fine. Maybe because is not a Google made one 😅

I want to see the people who saw the tiny smoke on the Z Fold6 screen commenting here now.

Just wait for the software update, they'll fix it for sure!

The best part of buying a Pixel 10 Pro Fold is when you unfold the phone for the first time and it starts speaking arabic

xPandamon, 15 Oct 2025Oh yeah let's hire companies known for making question... moreTheir durability is not questionable at all. They produce best rugged phones on earth.

David 040882, 15 Oct 2025Not that obvious for everyone. Most would think that this i... moreNot even at the weakest point, the pixel snapped at the antenna line, not the hinge- just like the last two pixel folds have. In fact, snapping/ gaps forming at the antenna lines has been a consistently reoccurring issue for pixel phones for the past several years, since the pixel 4 I believe (which was right around when google started making the hardware themselves). Google has had over 6 years to fix this issue and still hasn't.

To anyone that might be turned away from foldables because of this video, just know that the phone didn't break because it was a foldable, it broke because Google doesn't know how to build structural integrity into their phones. We need to return to the nexus days where Google just made the software and left all the hardware to other companies, because they clearly still don't know how to do hardware well.

Don't worry, Gemini and Google's deep software integration can still fix that. /s 😂

                        all for CLS.

Google is like Sony but in reverse. As Sony is ok in hardware(build quality, materials) but is bad as hell at software. Google is ok with software(at least at keeping it optimized) but tragic in hardware.

Anonymous, 15 Oct 2025Extreme durability test? Rriiiiigght. More like, let... moreHe is doing this with his bare hands. The last phone that was this fragile was the latest Apple #BendGate device, whichever it was. This is a bad design, cutting a crazy amount of corners to drive profit over safety.

To anyone trying to change the narrative that this isn't explosive. A normal fire doesn't erupt that fast. This was definitely explosive. No one has claimed it detonated.

Shamrock Sean, 15 Oct 2025No they aren't kinda yes. Unless you count some of the early A series pixels, pixel phones have never been worth their retail price, which is why they go on permanent discount so soon after they release
