        This is just my stupid fantasy of what it should be like:

        They do move Flip and Fold smartphones every gen somewhat currently so they should stay, 2 Flagship smartphones (Ultra and vanilla, no plus model), 2 midrangers (A5* and FE model), 1 solid Budget smartphone. That's it.

        It won't ever happen though.

          This rumor is closer to reality. Having same old camera setup since fire was invented, and suddenly naming it PRO - didn't make any sense.

            Samsung needs to make 4 types of phone 2 ultra small and big and 2 base series small and big plus.

                  Exynos 2500/2600 should be at snapdragon 8 Elite level. Otherwise, it's of no use. Try to use them in S26 FE and price it at 599 for 256/512GB. Don't use it in Plus and Ultra series.

                    Ultra series with top notch camera hardware at 1499 for 512GB.
                    Plus series with camera hardware compared to OnePlus 13 at 999 for 512GB
                    A5*/FE series with camera hardware to Realme Pro series/50+13+13 at 599 for 512GB. Try Exynos only on A5*/FE series.


                    This will bring them back into competition. Nothing else will.

                            The initial leaks (including the 'Camera Plateau' of the S26 Edge) have to be true.

                            No way a sudden twist like this!

                              Guys the leakers are making stuff up. A company the size of Samsung can afford to develop 4 phones only to scrap one late into development.
                              Game plan: Develop four S26 models(Pro, Edge, Plus, Ultra) --> see how S25 Edge sells --> decide which one to cancel (Edge or Plus) --> if they cancel Plus go with Pro, Edge, Ultra name and if they cancel Edge go with S26, S26+, S26U as usual
                              Making any decision before knowing how the S25 Edge will sell is stupid and risky which they wouldn't do on their flagship line.

                                I don't doubt it. It'd be weird to launch a Pro model without any vanilla model below it.

                                      Good. There is no need for pointless names, like "Pro". The S26 is fine.

                                        i hope they change the name so its easier to search on google/ebay. saying 'base model' is ridiculous
