Hemedans, 20 Oct 2025It doesn't mean you can't use it in USA, it means... moreWhich carrier between AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile are using CDMA? None of them.

A few small regional carriers have some legacy CDMA but it's all being moved to either LTE or 5G.

Anybody who opposes the use of Exynos chips is dumb. Samsung should use Exynos designs & their foundry. It's better to have more options, not less! (Don't like Exynos, don't buy it)

If something happens to TSMC, imagine how insane that chip shortage is going to be. Samsung foundries need to be developed. They are in the right to use their own chips. Nothing you can do about it. If you were them, you'd do the same.

+ They're not all that bad compared to Qualcomm/Mediatek/Apple anyhow. 5% less powerful? 5% less power efficient? 5% more heat? Is it that big of a deal for 99% of people who only open apps? Nope. Get over it. South Korea's FUTURE is dependent on those chips.

Also Google has lot of connectivity patents unlike Samsung, they bought Motorola then sold company to lenovo and retain those standard patents, so they are in much better position creating modem without Qualcomm as Both Motorola and Qualcomm are pioneer of Cdma.

Samsung has a lot to prove with this one. I am worried about thermal & efficiency even though it is 2nm🔥

Its been various generation of Exynos that they've been telling thats its better or at least competitive to the (more expensive) Snapdragon only to discover at release that the exynos variants wherr at best mediocre in performances and/ or thermals/ battery life and now we should just believe that a chipset that's cheaper to produce (for samsung) and has been missing performance targets for years will be better?
                          Picture me dubious

Samsung hasn't spoken about heating issue yet on the Exynos 2600. Even though the chipset might perform the same or even better than SnapDragon, but if there are heating issues, then it would be a total failure from Samsung. I would rather stick to my S25 Ultra with Snapdragon Chipset than the Exynos.
