I just showed you even S25 modem still have Cdma, that's my proof that modem still have those tech, and if its there they have to pay.
Not just Samsung even brand new Iphone 17 series have Cdma, creating modem is not just like Boiling egg or cooking noodles that in a year you create your brand new 4G and 5G only modem.
And no one disagree people can't make Cdma modem it's just they have to pay, and payingg is not as profitable as using Qualcomm solutions.
we don't know what Exynos 2500 use in USA, do you know which modem they use there? If you know post it here.
Also you cant make 4G modem without licencing 3G as I told you before, Qualcomm bundle those patents together, if you want their 4g patents you have to pay 3G too, it's there in every lawsuit against Qualcomm discussed in their unfair licencing issues.

You come with the Galaxy S6 and think it supports your thesis? At this time CDMA was used. Today not anymore.
Then you say the technology is also used in 4G and 5G patents. Then please tell us why Qualcomm protects it's IP only in the USA and not in the rest of the world.
And please explain why the Exynos 2500 is used in the USA.
Then your nonsense saying it's about modem not networks. Of course it is, no body said anything else. But modem manufacturer don't need to support technologies which aren't used anymore. Should be common sense.

ExynosUser, 21 Oct 2025It's due to patents nothing else nothing moreand yet they have no issues with releasing the A series or the Flip 7 with Exynos in the USA.
How very curious...
One would think they are afraid of the backlash the usa customers would give them if they would dare to sell exynos in an ultra phone there, after all these years of indulgence.

If the USA/China... the usual exceptions will again not use Exynos, that tells me everything I need to know about the famous Exynos 2600.
I am sick and tired of Samsung beliving they can release trash in the EU and ask for the same or even more money while the other countries get the good models.
We know since the S23 how big is the difference between a Qualcomm samsung and an Exynos samsung S series phone.
Its not like I would have anyway bought this phone now, but I'll be sure to tell everyone else as well to not to.
I would actually just advise Xiaomi or Apple at this point. Both are significantly better.

Exynos is great. It’s awesome. Like every year, it’ll surely keep its promise and beyond
And if you buy some s26 full price with exynos you’ll have such a wonderful device really a bargain
My messages were removed now I praise now and not adding any tech info so it should be kept, I guess.

I would be very surprised if Samsung were to use Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 3nm in any S26 whatever the name turns out to be.
SO just an FYI I posted as such before either source posted theirs and these benchmarks were published
Note also sources are still stuck in the mindset of Samsung split then the same process so like with like
"Here’s what Jukan has to report on the Exynos 2600 based on info from Korean media. The NPU will be 6X FASTER THAN THAT IN THE APPLE A19 Pro (the iPhone 17 Pro chipset). This would also put it 30% or so ABOVE the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 NPU.
And even if you don’t care about AI, multi-core CPU performance is said to be 14% HIGHER and the GPU is to be a WHOPPING 75% FASTER than the A19 Pro. Compared to the FLAGSHIP Snapdragon, the Exynos GPU will be up to 29% faster.
I don't agree with the split, $$$$ I posted previously, it appears https://www.gsmarena.com/newscomm-69871.php#3131327
Nanoreview: The very TOP Soc so far all 3nm A19 Pro then SNAPDRAGON 8 Elite Gen 5 3rd Dimensity 9500. All first 3nm process iterations were significantly better than the 4nm they replaced.
$$$$ The stated reason is USA regulatory my contention is the Exynos 2500 was used solely in ALL Z Flip7 so USA approved, which I would expect the Exynos 2600 to be also https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=13826&idPhone2=13712&idPhone3=13192
Samsung has enough 2nm Exynos 2600 to make this an all-Exynos release. Using Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 costs Samsung money

Exynos/Samsung had an overheating problem once, so they are bad forever --> this thread. By all means, please point to the manufacturer who has never had any problems, no design flaws or defects. 'Cause TSMC/Snapdragon ain't it either.
Looks like a lot of you are going to be carrying an HMD Barbie Flip since you can't use a chip from TSMC or Samsung because they all have thermal problems and you don't want any throttling.
"More recently, the Snapdragon 8 Elite has shown signs of overheating despite its high performance. Leaked benchmarks indicate that the underclocked version of the chip can consume over 20W of power under heavy workloads, causing temperatures to rise as high as 98.5°C—making it hotter than previous problematic models like the 888."

KarlKastor, 21 Oct 2025Has nothing to do with the topic here. Or do you want to te... moreIt's about Exynos not to be used in USA because of patents, all markets with Cdma like USA and China there is Snapdragon version there mainly because of patents.
1. 4g and 3G patents were licenced together, not separate so even if you target 4G you have to licence both 3g and 4G together.
2. It's modem not telecoms, phone manufactures make modems it doesn't matter what telecoms support and modems have 2G/3G/4G and 5G.
This is 25 ultra you can see modem still support Cdma, Evdo etc
https://m.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s25_ultra-13322.php
So if Samsung decide they use Exynos in USA and China they have to pay for those licence, it's well known topic but you guys just have to disagree for the sake of disagree.
Even in 2016 when Galaxy S6 used Exynos worldwide Usa version of S6 had Qualcomm modem and not Samsung one so that they can produce phone in USA market.
