TheLastOracle, 20 Oct 2025Where did you get these figures fromi was joking, ofc it's not actually going to use 25W of power but it's still going to use a ludicrous amount of power as samsung's chips are notoriously inefficient and samsung cant design chips as efficiently as qualcomm or mediatek, a double whammy of inefficiency.

Hemedans, 20 Oct 2025Exynos 2200 had better node than 8 gen 1 and I didn't ... morewhere i lived the difference between snapdragon and exynos was 50 dollars. The snapdragon was imported from another country.
Exynos is cheaper only on paper, in reality it isn't. Overall, all phones in that country are cheaper.

Hopefully we e get to see benchmarks before people come up will illogical theories in both sides. Also, Samsung should offer both Snapdragon and Exynos in the US, China and India

For the weak cuckold beta male, will buy this for amateur half hearted experience. This exynos 2600 is equivalent to a chastity belt.

Dragon is on fire again. Thankfully I live in united states. Will keep my s24 plus as long as possible and then will buy s27 plus or s28 plus. Dragon is one of few reasons I bought oneplus pad 3 instead of tab s10 ultra.

The plan is obviously to get it into as many phones as possible. That is the natural thing to do for the only phone manufacturer in the world still capable of making their own processors. US the likely be excluded again, as American FRAND laws are now entirely rigged to destroy competition. This time around, it does look like the US will be the losers.

samsung market share has already hit a 10 year low recently
i know samsung isnt far from the best company in the world and i also expect them to learn from the past exynos chips
otherwise they'd just use snapdragon everywhere if exynos wasnt actually good (well thats what did they did for the 2100/2200 ig)

Panther G, 20 Oct 2025It seems that Google still messed up with their Tensor G5 p... moreRemember the Tensor G5 is Google's first time attempting a chip fabricated by TSMC, it wasn't in the game as long as Mediatek and Qualcomm are, since it did only rely on Samsung to build Tensor G1-G4 chipsets. Even if they do correct the shortcomings of the G5 chipset, there's still another matter of it using a PowerVR GPU instead of a Mali or Immortalis one. That GPU comes without ray-tracing and its driver support might not be as stable as compared to Mali or Adreno. Hence why its performance is no where near flagship level.
As for Exynos, the common thing with it is overheating and instability. I know because i experienced the same thing with my last device. When people hate on a particular chipset, its about encouraging the manufacturer to do better, for the sake of competition. But when that's not the case, then expect criticism. And those criticism built for years that it becomes a hate train. People might even get less optimistic with latest chipsets they bring out.

Qualcomm should be worried.
Samsung already switched the Flip to Exynos. If all the Galaxy S lineup are switched to Exynos, that leaves the Fold using Qualcomm. That means Qualcomm flagship SoCs would be relegated to only Chinese phones that are only available in select markets, and Samsung's most expensive phone (which is lower in sales volume).
Not sure what Qualcomm is doing. They had a great start with the Oryon core, but then their marketing is going nowhere. The laptop chips are going nowhere either.

Maybe Samsung should use there own Exynos chip in there S26 series instead of relying on the Qualcomm chips. If Samsung keeps buying Snapdragons chips from Qualcomm that will make Qualcomm that much more a bigger monopoly for mobile processors. We certainly don't want that to happen.

ProMaxUltraAreBricks, 20 Oct 2025While I totally agree with Samsung’s bad decisions to force... more"And let alone smaller smartphone manufacturers like Vivo and Oppo, not releasing their ultra-flagship globally. Forcing global users to get a worse version of their phone."
That's not a worse version of the SAME phone, but a completely different phone. The vivo X200 Pro isn't an X200 Ultra with a different chipset, but an entirely different device, yes it's terrible that if one wants the Ultra they have to import it, but they are different devices. Absolutely not the same situation.
