This paper body trend will eradicated sooner than predicted, where are the people who said brands and manufacturers don't do compact more often because of unpleasing demands and sales? I always heard this type of people flooding with their mumbles at least after small ZenFone lineup ended in 2023.

A lot of people in the comments want the Iphone Mini back. Not just here, but under other compact phone posts as well. But we can else see that the two Mini phones sold poorly. Maybe it would be a good idea to release a new Mini every four years or so, so that vocal minority can upgrade and remain in the Apple ecosystem.
Maybe this could work with the Air too, but compared to the base Iphone it is very mediocre and more expensive, even if it is discountinued I don't think many people will cry about it many years later.

People who go for bigger phones usually do so because bigger phones, although unwieldy, have the best specs. A Big phone that's thin and light isn't automatically comfy.
The size of the phone is the main factor for comfort, then comes the weight and then comes the curviness and then the thinness imo.

Who would have thought that being thin, while also sacrificing a lot of the good HW, and cost much more than the regular iPhone would disappoint, oh wait, most users.

Definitely, but now that the base 17 has 120hz, the Plus model would've also had it, and that would've definitely taken sales away from the 17 Pro Max as well. The Plus model was never a bad idea, but it was executed so poorly that it was simply destined to fail, while this year it would've been too successful.

The battery isn't just okay tho, it's actually surprisingly great, and degradation isn't something that will be unique to this device, every battery degrades over time, and a larger battery with worse battery life will always have worse battery life with the same amount of degradation even if the battery itself is larger.

The single speaker is a huge compromise yes, but it's far from garbage-sounding, it's perfectly fine for regular daily usage. The charging speed however is truly ridiculously slow, and so far that's the only thing I dislike about my Air, but your statement about the midrange camera is just not true, it's not versatile but the photos it takes are flagship quality pictures.
