A similar thing happened with one of my parents' Nokia C32s that boot looped for no specific reason, and they had to offer a new Nokia C32 as a replacement. At least, there's a reason why a warranty exists. Make use of it while it lasts.

I wouldn't purc... moreHad they offered an alternative from HMD itself maintaining the cameras but upgrading the chipset to a flagship-tier chipset, that would make a sensible competitor to most flagship killer phones in its price bracket. It's not a bad phone by any means, though not without shortcomings.
But for US$200, the specifications are mostly unmatched now, because the closest competitor to the Skyline is the CMF 2nd generation with a marginally better chipset and weaker cameras.

they barely made all Fusion outfits available and with how they handled Skyline spare parts supply, just avoid this. My own Skyline had sudden battery expansion and swelling. Luckily it didn't explode but for a phone to have a very serious battery issue in less than a year, that's low bar. Had to get a new phone as the battery is pretty much nonexistent even in ifixit

rach42, 25 Oct 2025Would be nice to have 8 or 12GB RAM for the base model this... moreLast year's HMD Fusion had a 720p 90Hz LCD. A 1080p 120Hz OLED is a huge upgrade. Stereo speakers and an IP65 rating are nice changes, too.
