I believe we need to wait for a full package pricing. Hopefully it will be watch and buds, not ultra cheap tablet, then the price is ok. Probably will offer 100 euro early adopter cashback too, like before
For those disappointed with camera, it will need 2 updates to catch up, as with all new releases.

HorriblyMadeDevices, 26 Oct 2025BWAHAHAHA. Good big fat f luck selling at those prices! I... moreLoool, never thought we would have at least three meatshielders trying to protect an extremely overpriced phone. Are you three 🤡 going to buy this phone for 1299€? Tell me, I really want to know if that's the case!

My initial impressions of the cameras on the find x9 pro are very disappointing. The video quality seems to have regressed and lacks details and has trouble with completely overexposing light sources. I think the find x8 pro had much better video quality. The 3x hp5 is also disappointing compared to Honor's hp9 and Vivo's hpb. It really doesn't perform as well. I think OPPO max lack experience optimizing these sensors as it's the firts time they have used them

notafanboy, 26 Oct 2025Imagine thinking mediatek is bad in late 2025. Imagine being uninformed about disadvantages of the mediatek chips in 2025.

Snapdragon has better image and video processing. Better sound (Snapdragon sound). Better standbuy and better 5G cellular network. Better AI NPU. Better driver updates. Bettet Game and App optimization.

Apple has Apple stores with good customer service, and they have their own OS.

Samsung has Samsung Experience stores, which also offer good customer service and warranty (depending on the country).

Google has their own OS and sometimes you can find its Google stores (depending on the country).

These companies are generating revenue in the EU, and their expenses include the cost of their devices.

Chinese companies just bought the influencers around the world, that's all. And trying to charge people the same price as their competitors who have a lot higher expenses. Easy money.

What can i say, they can keep it. All models, no matter if oppo, oneplus, pixel or samsung for the next year are all lame. The manufactors think that they are kings but forget that the customers are kings. We should boycott them all until the bring some real innovation and cut the prices

IQOO 15 will be released global and will be more interesting phone. Oppo, like OnePlus, is in downfall. I see hardly someone with Oppo or OnePlus phone, so it will be even lesser next year. Better buy OnePlus 13 for 650€

Zuzuz, 27 Oct 2025In most cases western phones have lower specs than Chinese ... moreThere are hardly any Western phones in any case. Basically only Iphones apart from a couple of very small brands. Maybe Motorola but even though it's regsitered office is in the US Motorola is practically Chinese now as it's owned by Lenovo and most of its core business takes place in China. Iphones though do have very good hardware (even though I don't like them). The basics like speakers, screen, build quality are all good. Camera specs aren't as good as most Chinese ultra phones though. Still the main camera hardware is on par with all Chinese pro level flagships and the ultrawide is better than most Chinese flagships hardware wise. The periscope though is weaker than the top pro models

Eduard33, 26 Oct 2025I know the EU has a ton of taxes and regulations that they ... moreI think there are other costs like having a two year warranty instead of just a one year warranty in China. Warranties cost money. Also when you have to sell in many small countries in Europe with different customer service for different countries and not a large volume of sales it costs money. However, despite this the profit margins are probably still a good bit higher in Europe. A lot has to do with volume of sales. Xiaomi for example probably sold around 8 million of the Xiaomi 15 series in China but they won't sell anywhere near that volume in the rest of the world combined. A high volume of sales allows you to lower the profit margin as you benefit from economies of scale. Basically in Europe now flagship pricing is simlar between OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi, Samsung and Apple. The whole goal of the flagship market for companies is to make high profits. The budget market and lower midrange market is too competitive and profit margins are too low so they are all fighting to succeed in the flagship market as that is where the big profits lie. If they start by offering cheaper flagships that others e.g. if one of these brands undercuts the other Chinese brands in Europe it will create the impression of being a value brand and it will be hard to build a luxury brand image in the future. That's what I think anyway. Nubia is the only exception so far as last year they charged almost the same price in Europe as China when you account for the 19-25% VAT in Europe (depending on the countries)

Oppo find x9 pro sale price in china for 512/12 version is 800$ which includes companies profit. But in Europe per gsmarena it is 1,510$ (€1,299,CNY10,755/INR1,32,635/$1,510), which is absurd!
Buy it in china for 800$ then come home pay %25 tax it becomes like this 800×0.25= 200$, then this 200 tax added to 800 is equal 1,000$ that's it, why pay 510$ more dollars?

Say if you decided it's gonna be a shipment buying not you visiting the country, you pay 50$ at most for shipment by best logistics companies, then it will be 1,050 not 1,510$.
This seems a total scam for me.

BTW I'm from iraq i advise buying it from middle eastern arab countries as tax for these products is generally low and has global version with warranty on it valid. I think best choice is UAE for buying it and having your yearly paid holidays for Europeans.
Why i don't recommend iraq?, because we don't have the type of fun things some tourists desire. Such as beach. We have great mountains and hiking sites in north and others.
