Xi's biggest fans seething their phone's too expensive using the same cookie-cutter "AI OS" as all the other phones from China.
Funny how nobody thinks it's odd that Oppo, Xiaomi, and OnePlus literally all have almost the exact same OS.

€1299 is a no go.
The S25 Ultra is €899 in Europe right now with discount code from official site from my country. No one will buy a Chinese flagship with these kind of prices lol

Some compare to S25 Ultra...this is previous gen...X9 Pro should be compared to S26 Ultra.
You will probably get some launching offer.
Last year I get Find X8 Pro (16/512) at 1049€ + 80W wire charger and 50W Wireless charger..
Iphone 16 Pro Max (8/256) cost 1479€...
Don't remember S25U's price.
Don't forget X3 tele on Oppo isn't a ridiculous 1/3.54" like on S25U but a 1/1.95".
Oppo is cheaper but not cheap...hardware is better

No need to buy overpriced tech from china

I was disappointed by the cameras on the Find x9 pro when I tried them. The video quality didn't seem as good as the previous generation in terms of details and exposure control. Also the telephoto isn't as good as other phones like the Honor Magic 8 pro and Vivo x300 pro at the same price range. Maybe it's because the main camera and persicope are completely new sensors that OPPO hasn't used before (they also didn't use the precedessor to the LYT-828 (the LYT-818 which is very similar). Hopefully they improve them with updates as OPPO has a great track record for giving very big camera updates. The standard find x9 was optimised better in my opinion. I guess that's not suprising though as it has basically the same rear camera hardware as last year's find x8 pro which OPPO has plenty of experience optimising. Love Color OS though. I think it's easily the best of the Chinese brands for software in their Chinese models.

Anonymous, 27 Oct 2025Tue that. X9 Pro should cost 999€. But 1299€ is overkillStandard Chinese flagships cost €999 for 12gb 256gb e.g. Xiaomi 15, Oneplus 13. There is no way the major brands like OPPO, Xiaomi and Vivi will give you pro models for that.
