I think It time for me to shift to Samsung as Smartphone user because Motorola have change their mind with new line up as only selling phones in US,No expendable memory & No battery replacement.I think Google want to sell their Google drive though Motorola.Good bye Moto.

Motorola is selling the Moto X in the US, Canada and Latin America. Motorola left Europe last year. That's the only reason they earned 1.8 billion in Q3 2012: they were selling phones in Asia, Europe and Australia. Now they only sell in America (north and south).

The Moto Maker AT&T exclusivity for Moto X also helped kill phone sales. I think that was a dumb move giving that to AT&T. Bug off AT&T, and stop sticking your noise into everyone's mobile business. We don't need u or want u hogging phones or their design options.

Too bad Motorola was using standards essential patents and are losing all their court cases.

in 2014 if Google Motorola can't release phone at least with same spec as Nexus 5 if not better ?
If they don't then Google pack your bag - premium price with mid range spec which relying solely on nationality and software feature-the voice stuff will only get you thus far. Disappointed.

Google has NO intention of Moto's success. Google always leaves out vital features on the Moto so that they will not sell as well and therefore Google can justify why it will kill off the Moto brand. Trust me people , it will just be a matter of time and no more Motorola.

When you people learn? If Google beef up Motorola Mobility they will loose OEM support. MSFT learned that in hard way (WP and RT collapse). You don't compete with your OEMs.

Time to shift focus with Moto and launch globally!

Enough with this americas only crap. You can gladly keep assembling in the US for those markets, and assembly somewhere else for the rest of the world.

Just bring your devices globally, all at the same time or +/- 4 weeks at max.

                                    Great devices, horrible global strategy.

Serves them right. You dont bring out many phone and then restrict them to USA,how long do you think Cadburys would last bring out 2 new chocolate bars and restricting to only being sold in Wales,UK.

For a company to survive today your market has to worldwide and even perishable fruit is exported worldwide.I know here in UK the Moto X is in quite high demand,,even if they only sold an extra 200,000 per country that is sales and that what you need to survive..No sales your companys dead.
