I actually don't mind the looks. The single notification bulb is also a lot less juvenile than the glyphs. My issue with Nothing is the ensh*tification of their software. Rumours of lock screen ads on Nothing OS 4.0, that Essential Space nonsense, and who knows what else we'll have shoved at us in future now that they've pivoted to being an "AI Slop First" company. They're basically like every other CCP Temu phone brand now, with lower specs for the price.

Bit expensive for an entry level phone but honestly there isnt as much popular brands as Xiaomi and giving same or better specced devices for less price than Xiaomi.

Could have atleast given a better snapdragon processor. It seriously looks like a downgraded CMF phone 2 pro. What is nothing team smoking nowadays?

Nothing Phones is trash due to low battery capacities and low battery life. Said this as a Phone (1) owner.

This phone looks like a pretty good value for money, at least for over here in the western market. My only real criticsm is the 2mp macro lens- its just so unnecessary.

Looks very cool but if it's the same price as the cmf pro then better get the cmf pro. As it's better.

Here's how to fix this launch:
1- It could've made sense over CMF if it had Stereo. That's all it's missing.
2- Why add a useless 2MP macro? Apple will never do that.
3- I would also remove the Ultrawide. (iPhone 16e has one camera & it sells)
4- Get Carl Pei to explain on social media the reason why it only has one camera. (most 8MP UW sensors are trash that don't meet our standards + "we don't fake a third camera like other manufacturers")

Nothing initially hated the BS decorative cameras. Even the 2a didn't have any.
CMF Phone 1 had the 2mp depth? Fine, I'll accept that. 3a had 8MP ultrawide? Fine, I'll accept that. But iinw the cost savings of not including the 2MP macro outweigh the extra bit of plastic and glass they have to fill, and even so they'd be very evidently contradicting themselves nonetheless.

So basically a naked looking cmf 2 pro. This time with "transparent" recycled plastic.
Still, the ceo was talented enough to make so many people believe that, smth as depressing as..gazing at flashing lights to guess who is calling you, and a monochrome icon pack on top of that, actually worths paying money for. My guy actually kept making money like that for 3 years lol..
There were actually many users here praising NP3 and defending the $1000 price tag.
