Instead of benchmark, I'd prefer to see the reviewer testing the phone with actual game/apps in real life usage, for example : how stable it is when playing genshin impact for an hour without using external cooling device. Or when recording 4K 60 fps for 30 minutes. Or when running multiple heavy application concurrently...

They are sacrificing sustained performance for higher peaks. Get the job as soon as possible and be idle. Apparently it works pretty well as seen from 8 gen elite. Or, it started to be effective from 8gE / 9400. Just X1/2.. based cores was a failure, but X925 based cores seems to work.

Peak power consumption of 8E5 = ~20W
Peak power consumption of 8G2 = ~8W
Sustained thermal load = heat dissipation capacity = ~6-7W for a typical smartphone.

If you see Antutu 7 score flagship phone 200k and after 1 year flagship phone up 600k... Very fake data

Whats with these stability scores of Elite 2? I mean they are lower than 8 Gen 2. Check Xiaomi 13 Ultra reviews on this website 8 Gen 2 had like 90%+ stability with lowest score of 11000 in Wild Life Stress

... moreMaybe it's because it uses slightly over 20w to get 12400. So probably phone manufacturers are capping the max power to around 12w hence the lower than advertised scores.

Benchmark delusionals were saying that both D9500 and SD 8E Gen 5 would reach 4M in antutu and 4000/12000 in Geekbench 6
Neither chips were capable of doing that, and since phones using these chips already throttle to 40-55% of their performance, it was not even close to achieve that performance consistently
