If Sony could bring update for Xperia l then what's wrong with xperia v... It's far superior from other phones even better than z1 in aspect of clarity.... So this guy sure needs 4.3 update..

Sony Mobile AR made a mistake while answering someone who asked them about Xperia ZL, and said 4.3 were coming in november, but later they corrected themselves saying that 4.3 will come in december and Xperia L is the one who will receive an update in november, but to 4.2. So, yes, maybe it's not the most reliable source, but it's near an "official" one.

Actually, in a later correction, Sony Mobile Argentina said that 4.3 is coming for Xperia Z/ZL in mid-december, while Xperia L will receive 4.2 in mid-november.

i had Sony phones about 10 years. if Sony don't update middle phones like XPERIA V to 4.3, I will never by Sony new phones again. Sony is very pure in give update to their phones.

Nice been waiting for 4.3 wonder what changes will come in this update by the way i do think this phone will still get 4.4, just because they bring two new releases that would't stop sony from releasing 4.4 to this phone.

Phat-t, 19 Oct 2013Hahaha you're on crack if you think HTC has better build an... moreI agree with the other guy. I checked an Experia Z and compared it to the LG G/G Pro and the HTC Butterfly-S.
The LG phones definitely had the better build despite having a nearly identical design to the Z.
The problem with the Z is from the front to the side frame to the back don't have a good fit...not nearly as good at the LG phones anyway.
The HTC also had a better feel and finish.
I like the Sony phones and I think Sony is #1 right now in terms of keeping their phones up to date with the latest Android version and maintaining updates with their phones longer than other manufacturers (here LG should learn a thing or two from Sony) but I can't agree with your comment about Sony's build quality. They need to step it up a notch.

HTC only has one decent design and thats the One even tho its a rip off of Blackberry Z10. When you see a Sony phone you know its a Sony phone. Everything else on the market looks the same with the round corners and curve back

if they are officially going for Xoeria L then there are hardly any chances that they will NOT Consider Xperia M for this update

i hope galaxy grand will also get 4.3 update inshALLAH
