Most of the economic sane-folks (i.e. the people who don't look just to pump and dump) who predicted the DotCom bubble say the same now, except this AI-bro bubble...which in itself was a sludge drip from the Crypto bubble...is MUCH bigger than the DotCom bloat.

The entire US stock market is now proped up by around 7 or so tech-bro companies, Fruit being one of those. The ONLY company which is making actual money off of AI right now is NVidia, since in a gold rush the guys selling the pans and picks come off the richest. The rest of the AI-bros and big tech in general are not seeing much actual gains, but lots of losses from overinvestment in AI tech/hardware and their stocks are still being pumped up by greed and fools.

But when this bubble pops, by god it will be a bloodbath on wall street. Those who pull their money out early will make bank, but the bagholders might lose much more than just the pants under their ass.

Moon, 31 Oct 2025It looks like stock market manipulation.Well, you just exposed the real job of those “analysts”🤭

But I thought Apple needed "AI" to succeed?

Beware that historically the largest companies don't stay on top forever. Incredible earnings tend to mean revert. There is a realistic chance the US market (dominated by large growth) faces stagnation and offers very low real returns for the next 10 years, just like the 70s and 2000s.

Amazing performance by Apple, once again they launched an excellent line-up (except the Air), the base iPhone and Pro Models have proven to be runaway successes for premium buyers overall.
Absolutely enjoying my 17 Pro Max (came from 15 Pro Max), it has been an absolute battery beast (easily getting well over 8hours SOT, probably can get more but by the time I go to bed it is still at around 40%), overall performance has also been amazing thanks to the vapour chamber, A19 Pro, upgrade to 12GB RAM and the solid 48MP Fusion camera array.

It seems Apple will continue to be the #1 choice for high end, premium buyers by a significant margin.

Anonymous, 31 Oct 2025What freemium? Windows isn't free.Win 10 was given free to anyone running a PC with 7 onwards and Win 11 was given free to most people running Win 10. Even the ISO can be downloaded and not even activated for free. Microsoft makes money mainly from subscriptions not its software anymore.

Not to mention Apple is very popular among gen Z and younger. Meaning there even more room to grow in the future.

And I say this as someone who don't like apple at all. A penny pinching and scammy company.

I don't really see any Apple services taking off. Cheesey.

Now I totally get the increase on Mac sales and profitability. Windows 11 bloatware is getting on the nerve to such extent I'm considering Windows Server for my home PC.
