realme need to copy from samsung One UI not IOS realm e have less battery lifespan despite having a bigger battery not to mention that Realme UI is getting heavier & slower. what's even more frustrating is all the AI image gimmick on performance / gaming phone instead of usefull text extraction or AI performance optimization instead of on gaming optimization.

They invented things like the umbrella, fly trap, seizmograph, gunpowder, everyoen copied them after, no problem with that. Copying is not bad and everyone does it. When Google Chrome in 2008 first released with minimalistic UI and tabs above the address bar, Firefox copied that and Firefox users weren't happy about it. And then every other browser copied it, now nobody even remembers that.

Anonymous, 05 Nov 2025Apple introduced design with transparency effects in its Aq... moreI remember that version. It did not have glass, it had elements with low transparency that emulated a glass. But it didn't have blur or distortion.
The first one to have glass was Windows Vista in 2006, but I can't deny that Apple took it further by adding distortion at the edges.
I'm not a Windows fanboy, I use Linux Mint Cinnamon.

Fingerprint unlock animation customisation is definitely not new. It was already available in the Realme GT2 Pro from the very beginning (on Android 12 if I remember correctly)

Liquid Glass is nothing like aero. It's using glass elements which might seem similar to aero because of a single effect "transparency".
But the main thing with liquid glass is the "Liquid" element which no one is able to copy and if they do it won't be efficient.
This liquid effect which "refract" whatever is behind in subtle rainbow shows the level of optimization required to achive in a UI.
Windows aero was simply transparent with elements of adjustable blur and diagonal lines of reflection on glass along with a tint of your choice.
